I don’t think we’ve interacted with this system yet, it kind of sprung up on us! I’ll have a poke about!

I should say this is by no means a dig at the game- this pareto like distribution is common to all games, it's the reason I have little to none hours on the majority of my steam games, and a ton of hours on just a few (V2 included).

For example, in perhaps the most similar game L4D2 less than 40% of purchasers have completed the first campaign on any difficulty. Several of the other campaigns stand at less than 20% of purchasers. Any steam game or personal steam library shows the same pattern.

Yes absolutely! No shade felt from our end! It's just another contributing factor.

I've also not played 55% of the games I own on Steam (to my absolute horror, but some of them are just not my cup of tea and came in bundles).

That data (2.9% players have all chars 30+) is certainly thrown out by the fast turnover in lower levels and large number of people who buy the game and barely play it, or play it a bit and quit. As a result, active playerbase will differ significantly from the actual full number of people who own the game. I mean v2 has sold 2m+ copies but only has 3-4k players active at a time.

For example, out of everyone that bought the game, 20% didn't even complete the prologue, only half have completed 'Act 1' and 75% have not beaten skittergate on veteran difficulty. It's a safe bet that most of the 75% are inactive.

Not that it makes much off a difference but there was a bug for a while where players didn't get the prologue achievement - and it wasn't uncommon a bug either. Some veterans still don't have it (they would get it if they ran the prologue again since the bug was fixed however).

Any news that this bundle will be available.on Xbox or PS?

I've checked and there is no bundle.

Sadly the bundle only works on Steam this time around.

Join us over on Twitch at 14:00 UTC (15 BST/16 CEST/07 PT/09 CT) as we celebrate the 5-Year anniversary of 'Vermintide', speak with Martin and Marten about this journey and maybe we'll get loose lipped, who knows. Tim and Tom return to play with YOU, so we hope to see you there!

Why is the Vermintide 1 stuff not on sale (not for me, I already have everything), some friends were interested in a small Vermintide 1 revival but at 70 Euros (20% bundle discount) most said that is too much money for a few fun hours :joy:

Or will it go on sale during the End(times) of Spooktober?

Unfortunately I’m not allowed to divulge any information on planned sales.

Hey @FatsharkLev, is there any reason why we can’t gift the hat bundles on Steam? I was trying to gift it to a friend as a surprise but the gift to a friend button has been greyed out.

The anniversary bundle prices adjust based on what you already own. So, if you own any hats already in the bundle it will be a reduced price. Due to this, they are personalised and can’t be gifted. Sorry!

If you follow the link SirKruber has linked above and submit a ticket, then we can certainly sort a progress reset for you.

There’s potential for discussion to be had here, but keep it civil onwards please all.

Ah okay! Apologies for the inconvenience.

I’ve flagged this internally now and we’re looking into it. I’ll update here once I know more!

Hi Masterwetra,

The anniversary discount bundles should be accessible via searching the Steam store - try a search for “vermintide bundle”

There’s a possibility they might not show for all regions. So, alternatively, you can select any of the hats in your list and you should be able to access the anniversary bundles in the store description.

Hope this helps!

Thank you fatshark for creating 2 games that literally changed my life.

When I was in a bad place for a couple of years, your game (predominantly vt2) was my only escape. It allowed me to find people to talk to, make friends, have so many crazy fun times, laughing our asses off and sharing all our stories whether they were personal or game-related. Your game has also been such a creative outlet for me, inspiring all my weird memes, videos and fan art.

I have had both an unhealthy and a healthy relationship with VT2. The addiction is real! XD

But ultimately your game allowed me to build an amazing friendship over the last 2 & 1/2 years with one particular person, and then out of the blue, something we never expected happened.. we fell for each other.

So it’s 3 weeks until he comes to meet me in person for the first time, and we are crazy excited.

I couldn’t be more grateful to you Fatshark for this game that changed my entire life. :) Tha...

It's the 5th anniversary of the series, and they're offering a "content bundle" of 6 items and only two (fairly cheap) items are discounted for like 25%, those being the Grail Knight and its cosmetic upgrade.

Isn't the point of events to try and a) get veterans to keep playing and b) get more people to join your playerbase? And then you ask for 60€ for a "content bundle" that's just a list with absolutely no discounts?

I have a band and I personally SUCK at marketing, the other band members have more instinct for business, but wow, even I can see this is just... lazy, dumb or both.

What's even worse, Steam has a "digital tabletop" sale and while Vermintide isn't a tabletop game, it is set in arguably one of the hugestest tabletop universes in the world. Are ...
