Regarding the Handmaiden passive perk Ariel’s Benison; it was implemented before automatically blocking attacks while reviving was a thing and was generally more useful back then. It does still have some applications. For example, when reviving an ally while under attack by an enemy that can deal damage through your block(such as a Rat Ogres slam attacks), Handmaiden is the only career that can complete the revive without being interrupted. But I agree that it’s a very small and niche perk. It could do with some dusting off to get it more in line with the new and updated mechanics!

Looks like your GPU is running out of usable VRAM here, I’m aware you’ve updated your GPU drivers but was it a clean re-installation? Instructions on how to do this can be seen here.

Fatshark is the best company I have worked for especially in this regard. No forced crunch and if people want to work late they get to bank all their hours, which is nice if you get into a flow and work late, you can choose to take the morning off to sleep in or take a Friday off and flex your hours out.

That’s odd, I wondered if somehow a challenge from a DLC you didn’t own had completed, but that can’t be the case!

Could you try deleting your Vermintide 2 appdata directory please?:

1. Press Windows key + R
2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
4. Delete the entire ‘Vermintide 2’ directory

Please be aware it may reset your video options, and you may be prompted to re-run the prologue!

We will be monitoring stability and pushing fixes as fast as we can manage

It’s my understanding that this error occurs when the latest updates for Windows are not installed.

This is largely because we understand that our original design needs revision, which is now a process we’re going through. We can’t be clearer until we know where we’re at, but we want to let you know we’re making change.

We have a dedicated post for performance complaints/investigation here, it would be appreciated if you could add to it as our Engine Developers are monitoring it: FPS drops, stutters and your DXDiags

I can see you have mods enabled in the logs produced. This is mod-related, Bot Improvements - Combat .

When the crash occurs, a crash report should be displayed with an option to ‘Copy to Clipboard’. Please paste one of those reports in here, and we’ll check it out.

You can refund via Steam assuming your playtime hasn’t exceeded 2 hours.
