All of the file size for Vermintide 2 is the game. There's a potential saving to be had if we were to 'remaster' (so to speak) but that would require every single person re-downloading the entire game client. There's very little space taken up by cut or unused material though.

Sooner than March 8 but not today. The change is indeed a backend change.

Ideally we'd need to see your locally generated log since it doesn't seem to be uploading. fatshark.se/support <- make a ticket there including your latest console log and crash dump from the app data folder(s)

  • WIN KEY + R
  • In the "Run" box, type...
    %appdata%
    ...and press enter.
  • Find the Fatshark folder in there. Delete the Vermintide 2 folder within.

it is on top of the list. Tried launching modded realm without mods still crashes on startup.
I'd suggest resetting your mod environment. Unsubscribe to all mods. Clear the workshop folder, remove your appdata settings for Vermintide 2 and start over. Probably have a mod that's no longer sanctioned causing grief.

Anything running in the background? 100% CPU usage is not inherently a bad thing when gaming, but can sometimes indicate a bottleneck

Definitely mod-related, possibly Third Person Equipment or Buff Info.

I'm not responsible for mod approval / sanctioning :)
