Heroes!
Today we've put out 1.6.0.1 which addresses a few issues introduced in patch 1.6 - The Anniversary Update:

Fixes
  • Fixed one case which could lead to a crash in the 'Obese Megalodon' on the event level 'A Quiet Drink'.
  • Changed the quest 'No Bottle Left Unemptied' so that it requires a total of 99 ales to be drunk, across all sessions. The quest tracks all party members, so if the host drinks 20 ales and each client drinks 20 ales, the total tracked progress would be 80 ales for each player's quest progress. Prior to this patch, should a player have drunk 99 ales or more, the quest should auto-complete upon logging in once more during the event.
  • Fixed erroneous rain sound effects heard whilst playing 'A Quiet Drink'.
  • Fixed a floating candle on 'A Quiet Drink'.

EDIT: Unfortunately, it seems we didn't catch all instances of the crash. We're actively investigating, but not be... Read more

This is correct, unfortunately. We're currently deciding on the best course of action to remedy this.

Sorry to all who have been affected.

I appreciate this isn't much help right now, but it'll be added to the Collector's Edition at some point. :)

If anybody is wondering what the influx of Easy Anti-Cheat-related negative reviews is about, it's because we recently refused to lift a ban from a player who had quite obviously attempted to cheat in Vermintide 2. This player and their associates then decided to review bomb us immediately after.

Unfortunately potentially new players are reading these reviews and are now under the impression that Easy Anti-Cheat may simply hit them with the ban hammer for no reason whatsoever, which isn't the case at all. As long as cheating software isn't running in parallel with Vermintide 2, you'll be A-OK!

If I PM you my email address, would you be willing to send me a copy of the dxilconv DLL?

I can then pop it over to Easy Anti-Cheat who will be able to analyse it and hopefully shed some light on why it’s untrusted.

Alternatively, if you’d rather contact them yourself, you can do so here.

Let me know how you’d like to proceed.

I think in this case it's the backend server having a moment of difficulty. We're investigating it right now.

That’s unfortunate. Do you have the latest updates for Windows installed?

Sorry to hear this - we are investigating the reported performance drops. @Absent, it would be much appreciated if you could add this information in to this post by Hedge here, which the appropriate developers will be keeping an eye on.

If they come from chests (undecided however) they wont come from existing chests.

Thank you all, I believe we have enough information. I’m hopeful that this can be addressed tomorrow.

I believe I responded to your query via the Support Portal last week. I recommended that you contact Microsoft Support instead, as they would be better equipped to analyse the German Event Logs that were sent to us. Did you do this?

Hello! Have you tried rebooting your router?

Unfortunately, it’s not entirely clear what could be causing this. The crashes you’re experiencing are called Access Violations, which in our experience are usually caused by something local. I’d recommend that you run through the solutions listed here.

Hello Flap! Could you please try performing a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers using the instructions here?

Smoker - I’ll speak with the engine team about the build. I’m a little out of the loop

Heroes.

This thread is to be a collection of users experiencing regression of frame rate and stuttering in recent patches.

Please do not use the thread for Q&A or to post anything but a description of what you experience and the inclusion of your DXDiags. Here’s a proposed format:

  1. Description of the issue and how it manifests for you
  2. The patch this started happening for you
  3. Upload your DXDiag
  4. Are you playing on DX11 or DX12 (NEW!)

It’s a good idea Azaroth. Let’s do that. A collective thread with dxdiags of players experiencing the specific issue - and their issue described as clearly as possible so we can identify trends.
