    • Mistcaller
      • Dodge Ball no longer pierces immunities.
  • Tazavesh: Soleah’s Gambit
    • Fixed issue where Murkbrine Fishmancer’s Volatile Pufferfish was not dealing damage.

Items and Rewards

  • Sandworn Relics are now bound on account.

Hello everyone. We made the following clarifications to the update notes:

CLASSES

  • WARRIOR
    • PROTECTION
      • Ignore Pain’s absorption increased by 30%, and the absorption cap is now 30% of maximum Health (was twice the Ignore Pain absorb value).

ITEMS AND REWARDS

  • GREAT VAULT
    • RAID REWARDS
      • All 3 Shadowlands Raid rewards will be available in the Great Vault via the Fated rotation. Once you slay a Fated Raid boss, their rewards will be added to the pool of available drops for the rest of the season.

I’m personally hoping for a reappearance of the Friendship Moose communities we saw six years ago. Really fun times.

  • Crew members now spawn on transport ships. This includes The Skybreaker and Orgrim’s Hammer, the flying airships in Icecrown.
  • Alliance and Horde players now start in separate layers in Acherus, the Ebon Hold when they first create a Death Knight.
  • Daily Normal Dungeon quests now grant two Emblems of Heroism.
  • Daily Heroic Dungeon quests now grant two Emblems of Valor.

In original World of Warcraft, Arena matches were first introduced during The Burning Crusade. This became a major way for players to test their skills against one another, and to expand and master their knowledge of their classes. Years later, during the development of Burning Crusade Classic, the Classic development team sought to reintroduce this game mode in a way that provided Arena contenders with an authentic recreation of the Arena experience.

We enjoyed watching players enter the Arena each season and experience the rush of competition. We got to see the first Infernal Gladiators – recognizing the top players of Season 1. We also saw a lot of feedback from the community, and we gathered and analyzed a great deal of data about Arena play. This gave us the information we needed to implement Arenas in Wrath of the Lich King Classic, and importantly, to make some key modifications to how the Arena system works.
