In order to preserve the integrity of the game and provide a better token market to players, with an update to World of Warcraft on Tuesday, November 21, we will enable the following restriction in this region.

• Players will no longer be allowed to purchase a WoW Token from the Auction House or the in-game Shop for gold if they have not spent real money to purchase and consume at least 30 days of game time (a “Time Limited License”) since 2017.

This does not affect the consumption of existing WoW Tokens, however, game time provided by the consumption of a WoW Token does not count toward the qualification to purchase a WoW Token for gold.

After November 21, 2023, any player who cannot purchase a WoW Token for gold in-game will need to first purchase and consume at least 30 days of game time for real money. This can be done on any World of Warcraft account across the player’s Battle.net account to qualify.

Our work is complete and transfers are enabled again.

In order to address a critical issue, we’ve temporarily disabled the realm transfer function on all Classic Era realms. Paid transfers as well as free transfers, such as moving a deceased Hardcore character, cannot be initialized at this time.

We’ll restore the service as soon as possible.

We plan to initialize the power increase in ICC on December 5.

It will start as a 5% buff, and it will increase by 5% every two weeks until it reaches the max of 30%.

As a reminder-- the buff is optional. Any player can always choose to remove it from themselves.

• Follower Dungeons are available for all 8 of the original Dragonflight dungeons on Normal difficulty. Queue solo or partner up with up to four players in your party and queue into any follower dungeon. Once entering the dungeon, a follower NPC will join your party and fill any role that wasn’t filled by one of your pre-existing party members.

  • Hunter pet attacks now scale with weapon attack power.
  • Kill Command, Bite, Claw, Smack, Flanking Strike, Froststorm Breath, and Burrow Attack damage reduced by 32.5%.
    • Developers’ notes: In a recent hotfix aimed at correcting an issue with Augmentation Evokers and their damage logging, we adjusted how Hunter pet damage is calculated. A side effect of this was that Hunter pet attacks started scaling with weapon attack power, increasing the damage of a Hunter pet’s special attacks by about 32.5% at 450 item level. This is actually something we would like to retain, as it means that Hunter...

In a recent hotfix aimed at correcting an issue with Augmentation Evokers and their damage logging, we adjusted how Hunter pet damage is calculated. A side effect of this was that Hunter pet attacks started scaling with weapon attack power, increasing the damage of a Hunter pet’s special attacks by about 32.5% at 450 item level. The side effect is something we would like to retain, as it means that Hunter pet damage will now benefit from weapon upgrades.

We’re currently testing the following hotfix, and intend to apply it to all realms as soon as possible today:

• Kill Command, Bite, Claw, Smack, Flanking Strike, Froststorm Breath, and Burrow Attack damage reduced by ~25%.

After this hotfix goes live, it will be added to our next Hotfixes Update...

    • Chaotic Disposition has been reworked to directly benefit the damage of affected abilities instead of duplicating portions of the damage they dealt. The amount of damage generated by the effect has not changed.
    • Chaotic Disposition: Your Chaos damage has a 7.77% chance to be increased by 17%, occurring up to 3/7 total times.
  • Vengeance
    • Sigil of Silence base duration reduced to 5 seconds (was 6 seconds). PvP duration has not changed.
