The time has come to migrate your Authenticator from the old Authenticator App to the new Battle.net App. If you currently are using the Battle.net Authenticator app, you must migrate to the new Battle.net mobile app by January 5.
The Authenticator feature is now available in the Battle.net mobile app. The old Authenticator app will be removed from all app stores as early as January 1, 2024, and will no longer be available for download. Players who migrate their authenticator will be able to continue using the Battle.net mobile app to authenticate their account logins.
If you currently have your Battle.net Authenticator in the Battle.net Authenticator app, you must migrate to the new Battle.net mobile app by January 5. After this date, we will begin removing the authenticator from accounts which haven’t migrated, reset passwords for affected accounts...
Read moreIt’s been nearly a year since T&W (Tawney and Wilder) and the Zen’shiri Trading Post have been supplying a variety of delightful mounts, pets, toys, and transmogs to the citizens of Azeroth. To celebrate, players who have earned the monthly special reward from the trading Post twelve times will be rewarded with a new achievement, “Trading Post Enthusiast” along with a new color-shifting transmog — the Burden of Unrelenting Justice transmog set.
You’ll be able to go from day to night in this stunning new set in the blink of an eye beginning in January.

Gather your allies and join the Dream Wardens as they stand against the machinations of Fyrakk and his allies, the Druids of the Flame—for fame, for glory, for the World Tree—and for the rewards. You’ll face nine new bosses and engage in a Dragonriding encounter, leading to the ultimate showdown at the top of Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope.
Having been carefully nurtured within the Emerald Dream, Amirdrassil is preparing to bloom and cross into Azeroth. But the fate of the new World Tree cannot be secured until Azeroth’s champions come together to face Fyrakk and his molten allies before he devours the heart of Amirdrassil and bathes the world in flame.
End Fyrakk’s chaos and earn great rewards for your efforts, such as new class sets and a new Legendary weapon—Fyr’alath, the Dream Render.

The following additional hotfixes have been added to the OP, and will come into effect with maintenance.
At the beginning of Dragonflight Season 3, we reduced the maximum rating gap healers could have going into a Solo Shuffle match, across all ratings, based on feedback we received. We’ve seen that this resulted in long queue times at higher ratings.
To help address this, about a week ago, we increased the rating gap moderately, but only at higher ratings, to best preserve matchmaking within the entirety of the ladder.
We’ve been watching the results of changes like that, and we’ll continue to watch all of these issues very carefully so that we can make surgical changes wherever necessary.
Along with scheduled weekly maintenance in each region (tomorrow, December 12), we’re going to make the following adjustments to the Tindral encounter in Amirdrassil.
Dungeons and Raids
Tomorrow, with scheduled weekly maintenance in each region, we’re going to implement some adjustments based on class performance and feedback.
We revisited this today, and believe that it’s about to work out for everyone.
As you know, there was an issue that was fixed on November 27 that resulted in a one-time mailing of missing Echoed Ephemera to players. At the same time, we made an additional update*.
Since then, we’ve seen some players report they’re not at the expected amount of Echoed Ephemera. The currency is capped per week, so you can reach 10 on week one, 20 on week two, etc. All players who’ve been maximizing this should be done on week five.
*The additional update we made was to increase the cap for week five to 60 Echoed Ephemera. All players who have been raiding each week should be able to earn the enchantment on week five.
Each week we’ll look ahead to what’s in store for World of Warcraft, share the latest news, and keep you in the know byte by byte. The Fate of Amirdrassil is in your hands when Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope Raid Finder Wing 4 goes live this week. Take the fight to Tindral Sageswift, Seer of the Flame and Fyrakk the Blazing. Good luck, raiders!
It was a challenging bug and realm restarts were required, but once we got it sorted, we didn’t want to wait until Tuesday for the buff to return.
Have fun!
We want to acknowledge a known issue that we’ve been working to identify and fix.
It’s possible in the Battle for Ashenvale PvP event to have two lieutenants get killed at precisely the same time, resulting in the entire event hanging in error for an extended time, and even affecting the start/reset of the next round of the event.
We completely understand how disruptive this is, and we’re working diligently to deliver a fix as soon as possible.
