We can definitely review this for Series 3 (Series 2 is locked in with the Dev Workshop changes, pending emergencies)!.

Thanks for the ping, I'll take care of it.

A minor oversight while coding I guess, it's really easy to reproduce if you know how to and likely as easy to fix. I already PM'd Rebecca how to do it.

Ahhhhhhh

OP, do you happen to have an F6 screenshot?

I am not working on Gas City but I passed it on, thanks for ping.

Sorry, you're right -- I'd been streaming for nearly 5 hours and needed food so I didn't check as thoroughly as I should have.

I just checked the code and evidently it tracks two factions: the current and original faction and the AI view only shows one.

I added logging to triple check what faction it was using for damage calculation and tested a Corpus fissure mission; as far as Bane mods were concerned:

  1. Before corruption they were Corpus
  2. Corpus after being corrupted were Corrupted (it overrides both)
  3. Enemies teleported from the void were Corrupted

Thank you for catching my mistake -- next time I should take a break for lunch!

Hi, if I just graduated from uni with a degree in Comp Sci. with specialization in C++, do you think there's some sort of starting position I can apply for rn to get a start in the games industry?

The industry as a whole or DE? For entry level positions it will definitely be helpful if you are located close to w/e company you're applying at.

To be completely honest, if you're not from around the London area or can't make it out there, then your chances of being hired at Digital Extremes are probably fairly low. Still, it would indeed be interesting see what they expect of and what they're looking for in potential employees, regardless.

Would not sign that, seeing as I was living ~6400km/~4000 miles away from DE HQ on the day I signed my contract. It all depends on the role and your experience.

Rules or not, I recognize that dev bashing is cathartic when it comes gaming, but rest assured we will have iteration to come as Steve mentioned.
