I've broken my fair share of keyboards and mice in the past. However, the past few years I mostly just walk away. It helps to realize that while I care about League & games alot, its not everything :). I still have people who love me and a life I love. That usually helps balance out the tilt (that + I dont want to buy new peripherals lol)

We will be doing balance patches on other champs much sooner. Yordles will likely need more data but there’s no hard line saying we can’t react faster for them if we need to.

EDIT: Looks like we found the cause and will be rolling out a hotfix soon. Apologies for the issues! Fortunately this only affected a small number of players. We're now talking about how to fix your rank :)

As we stabilize our patching schedule for next year I’d be happy to tweet out changes in a larger package more consistently prior to patches like Mark does. Though the best way to keep track of changes will be through our patch notes which will be linked on Twitter when it drops.

Cast on ally - fast, it is just a swipe, even if your direction is 90 degrees off, it will still pick your teammate.

This was actually part of our reasoning for doing it this way. The other reason for making tap always select your self is to give tap a consistent outcome that you can learn to play around. League supports tend to have more complex targeting than other mobile MOBAs (Nami being an example) where they can target enemies or allies (or turrets) with the same ability which creates even more pressure for there to be predictable outcomes to your inputs across different champions.

The cost of doing it this way though is that simpler situations where there’s just one ally to heal/shield on your screen requires the player to swipe the ability. We felt in these scenarios asking players to learn to swipe would be okay because it’s relatively easy to select a single valid unit since you just need to swipe in their relative direction. Ofc this can balloon if there’s more allies all stacked on top of each other but we felt that tends to be the exception and not the norm.
