What do you mean by this?

Question Response: Because giving 100% Accurate Information is considered too reliable.

Initially the current visual was placed at a radius of 3km from the Sub, which was a rather massive area to hunt in. It was halved, then further reduced to 1km. The graphic I made shows how the increased Depth Charge explosion radius interacts with the "possible area" the sub could be in. You are correct that heading/speed/etc are not noted in the visual indicator. As shotgunning was addressed through dispersion, subs should be expected to use the Ping mechanic much more often in general.

-

So you feel 400m away from the Sub would be large enough that it has a reasonable chance of not being hit every time it uses Ping? Further, would you think it appropriate for a Sub to expect to take damage every time it attempts to do damage using Pings?

If the suggestion is just to give a more accurate representation of wh...

Given the picture above, how "close" would the ping need to be in order to feel generally viable? If "directly over the sub" was not an option.

Would a ping within 500m of the sub make the AoE of the Depth Charges large enough to be more of a comfortable call/response in order to get a Flood/Oil Leak and DCP exchange?

One thing worth remembering is the distance of the Ping Marker and the size of the Depth Charge Explosion.

The ASW charges really can cover a LOT of ground in their search pattern. Further, interacting with the Sub at all triggers Oil Leaks which either give very definite location data or force a DCP from a limited pool of them.

There's another thread which does highlight some of her strengths if you'd like to give it a read.

In all seriousness, there really are other ships that can provide that playstyle.

While clone ships are a thing, the best choice for a diverse experience in the game is for each ship to be unique. That could mean something subtle like two ships that are fairly similar but there is an Accuracy vs Reload difference... or it could be a large difference where the Main Batteries are only suitable for Cruiser overmatch or HE spam because the Secondaries are the primary characteristic of the ship.

In the Oklahoma's case, she's not a Main Gun-style ship and it's up the player to decide what that means for how they want to play her. For some players, that means they just won't play her at all. For others, it means a unique game in terms of positioning and decision-making. As mentioned above, if you wanted a more Main Gun focused playstyle you can simply pick another ship which provides that experience while leaving the Oklahoma to provide the unique expe...

Base XP in Naval Battles is a known issue for Co-Op Mains. It's a process, but it's something we've already called attention to.

You are not allowed to swear and curse at other players in our game. Doing so will earn you chat restrictions, and each restriction can be longer than the last and result in a loss of in-game chat privileges completely.

-

Our game IS a team game, which does mean it can be frustrating to have situations that happen be out of your control. However, you are not allowed to take out your frustrations on your team by mistreating them.

Breaking them down was slated for a month or few. A fair amount of time because not all players log-in every day. If the feature is very popular/used, then it may stay longer.

We are not offering a way to combine bonuses. Only breaking them apart for folks that want more small bonuses over many games.

Breaking down bonuses into smaller bonuses should be free and unlimited.

Correct. Good to keep a bit of a reminder since there's typically a lot of stuff going on.

The time window helps to keep Random Battles functioning correctly for Matchmaking. The additional players in the queue help to avoid queue dumps and other strange pairings during low population times.

You would be purchasing a set of the Visual and the Bonus. As they are assignable, you could put one on one ship and the other on a different ship, yes.

Most permacamos just have the standard permacamo bonuses on them. In those case, the Perma-Visual should be seperated from the normal Perma-Econ Bonus for the tier.

You still retain the Permacamos in your inventory, so if you ever acquired the ship again later it would be there. After the change, it would be a Perma-Visual and a Perma-Economic Bonus for the ship instead.

This is a modification of the minimap, the author of the mod just updated it, you can download it directly by clicking on the link, or wait while we update the mod in the modpack.

Please don't mislead players. You are well aware that after the release of the patch, some modifications need to be adapted and this does not happen immediately. The more changes, the more time the Modder needs to restore the mod.

Looks like the Arizone has better sigma (tendency for shells to land toward the center of where you're firing) but slightly slower shells and reload. Could be that you're dialed in on New Mexico shell lead? or perhaps a little less shell grouping makes for more consistent hits?
