There is always room for improvement and its something we do take very seriously and are actively working on. OP stated that we did not communicate that we posted it anywhere, which I showed we did, it was also posted as an important topic for several days after the announcement. There were several other locations it was posted:

Furthermore, it has been visible within the Clan Battle selection interface in game.

The standard avenues for communicating the information was covered. This sort of information we typically do not cover on official Social Media so it did not make it there.

It's been almost 10 months since the last Tier X Ranked and quite a bit has changed in that time. We're very interested in everyone's experience once they jump in to see how it compares to last year.

Also remember Arms Race isn't going away but the team is exploring more game modes which we believe will break up some of the day to day normalcy you guys see.

The goal is of course when creating these ships is to release them but they have to be in a reasonable state of balance before we do so. There are some ships which go through testing which we determine aren't quite ready for prime time that require more development and may take quite some time for release.

Everyone's opinions are both welcome and valid! Regardless of experience we weigh in everyone's thoughts but bear in mind we match sentiment with data and stats.

What you guys share here is critical, but it's a piece of a bigger puzzle.

Captains have given you some great advice on how to build a successful Yamato captain.

Captain skill wise I follow pretty much the same build for bbs.

This is my standard BB build.

You could substitute AR for High Alert if you want.

Must have skills are: FP, CE and EM.

I choose skills in this order: PT, EM, SI, CE, FP, BoS and then AR.

Even the best programs in the world can crash for a variety of reasons out of the blue, we're sorry it happened at a critical moment of the game. What I would recommend is to run a check and repair on your client to ensure there is no corrupted files etc. It is worth noting, if you are running a modded client these mods can impact the integrity of the client.

This has been a linchpin in many ships development. We pride ourselves on the historical accuracy of our modelling, and therefore getting the historical documentation is very important in the development of ships.

This is a very true factor, it can take up to and over 2 months to design and model a ship to add to the game, then there is the whole balance factor which can take even more time.

Trust me, we've heard the community requests for Italian ships, it hasn't fallen on deaf ears.

That is a good point in mentioning what parts of the ship to hit with torpedoes. Great catch!

Thank you for pointing that out! See I told you I would miss some things =). Good call and thank you for letting other players know this.

Torpedoes have a minimum arming distance and yes it is quite small but remember if an enemy ship is that close the torpedoes will not arm and do no damage.

Hey Doomlock,

Thank you for pointing that out about the Deep Water torpedoes on the GZ! GZ does not have deep water torpedoes anymore so that leaves the Pan-Asian DDs and the Asashio as the only ships with them, you can correct me if I am wrong again lol.

I was mistaken when I put the GZ on there =(. That is my fault.
