This is not correct. The segments are split amongst survey respondents.

Among players with 0 battles played, there was 43% opinion against adding Submarines to our game. The negative opinion dropped sharply with as little as 1-5 battles played as those players had a 23% opinion against adding Submarines. It dropped even lower amongst those who'd played 6-25 battles with only 11%.

Familiarity with the class through direct play experience had a powerful interaction with player perception.

Greetings Captains,

I just wanted to let you know that due to me attending TwitchCon with some other World of Warships representatives, there will not be a new entry in the New Player Captain's Log today, 10/11. I haven't had a sufficient amount of time to play the game and thus I won't have much to share.

However, I did want to create a thread just in case any other new players (or experienced players, for that matter) wanted a space to be able to discuss their weekly experiences, ask questions or just have some lighthearted discussions!

Can't wait to be back with y'all next week! Until then, fair winds and following seas!

This essentially hits the nail on the head. Additionally, in the hypothetical world where everyone gets to select what they play against, you end up with a fragmented playerbase and the matchmaking queue times become horrendous.

Our Combat Missions are aimed toward an expected amount of engagement. While Expendable Bonuses and Premium Time can be used to complete resource-based combat missions faster then others, the targeted level of engagement still remains.

In the end, our events and offerings are around playing our game. Premium Time makes each game played more lucrative~

Base XP is not affected, no. The OP is arguing that is should be affected for purposes of combat missions.
