We're a 40-hour-a-week business similar to other companies. We don't work on Saturday and Sunday so I'm not able to get answers to questions like these until work-days. (Me working today is voluntary since the forums are my primary area)

I remember seeing the issue noted internally yesterday, but I didn't question it further so I don't have an update to offer until I can ask a specific question.

Rather then repost my interactions, you can visit this thread which is already active on the topic you are describing:

We all get frustrated sometimes. Thank you for apologizing to your teammates.

Please don't leave battles as that's against our EULA and your account can be sanctioned.

There is a considerable difference in AA between Tier 8 and 9 especially due to the existance of the Slot 6 Secondary/AA mod. While many players refuse to use that upgrade, it is noteworthy due to multiplicative increase and additional flak.

From my port, these are some examples.

Destroyers:

Tier 8

Kidd

Fenyang/Ship Smasha

Tier 9

Freisland/Gronnigan

Ostergotland

Cruisers:

Tier 8

Baltimore

Rochester

Bagration

Tallinn

De 7 Provincian

Tier 9

Alska

Seattle

John De Witt

Carnot

Battleship...

I believe we're aware of that issue. I don't have an update at this time, though.

When I worked as a Supervisor in a Movie Theater I learned that this is true.

Stats show that only 1 out of 10 people will actively stop what they are doing to compliment something good. (IE: "Hey, I just wanted to let you know that your Movie Theater is awesome!" in person or via an online review) Most people that enjoy something will simply come back to enjoy something again as their way of signaling a good experience.

Stats show 3 out of 10 people will actively stop what they are doing to mention disappointment or dislike. (IE: "The experience was just dreadful... The sound was off and the threater was WAY TOO COLD!" in person or via an online review). Most people that don't enjoy something will simply return less or not at all as a way of signaling a bad experience.

In management, we were trained to stop and take notice of ANY feedback Good and Bad. It's too rare to not spend the effort pa...

It's similar to CVs. Players that understand the game and intuitively grasp the controls can feel very powerful nearly immediately. That's because CVs are a decision-making class and the player has the gameplay knowledge to make those decisions, while also have the gameplay experience to guide in strikes.

Players that do not grasp the complexity of the game will have trouble finding the feel/niche of the class and can do things that seem random and crazy to someone who has a more full understanding. In short, it's perfectly normal for someone trying something new to mess up until they either find a way to do it that works for them or receive further instruction.

-

Our game is extremely complex. It's easy to lose track of how much knowledge there is that gets accumulated. If you want a reminder of that, try inviting a friend or child to play the game and see what they do naturally verses what is considered higher level play.

You're asking about the Credit Value of your Expendable Camos after the Bonuses are Coverted?

We have a table of the Credit Values we'll be using:

I don't have a handy list of what Expendable Camos are labeled as which, but the change will be up on the PTS to be checked out. The Camos should be sorted or otherwise indicate what they are classified as.

-

Currently Expendable Camos sell for Half of their Credit Value. IE: 22,500 Credits can be sold in your Inventory for 11,250 Credits.

There are aspects of this thread that are already dancing around political concepts which are not things we discuss on this forum or in our game. Please keep it classy, folks.

-

Much of our content is period-esque and we tend to keep to a generic flavor. We do have collaboration materials and some goofy Event Commanders like Cap who has a silly voiceover and other fun portraits.

-

We do have a great commander named Leeroy Jenkins.

You can learn more about him by visiting this article: https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/general-news/story-of-leroy-jenkins/

-

We also have our first English Female Commander Voiceover coming with our Statue of Liberty Commander. She'll appear later on in this patch.

The size of Random Battle isn't related to CVs. Our Random Battles are 12 v 12 which means we create maps assuming 24 players and create ships assuming 24 players. As Tiers increase, firing distances and speeds increase so the maps get larger to fit the larger capability sets. Altering our Random Battles to a different number would be fundementally altering our balancing foundation.

CVs existing in 6 v 6, 7 v 7, or surprisingly even 1 v 1 is still able to work out. There is never an expectation of 12 ships in a ball to deal with planes. Ships spread out across the map to take positions and CVs typically encounter 1-3 ships firing off AA when making attack runs. As some ships can have particularly spicy AA as a specific strength, there are ships which are very capable of independant positioning even in CV games. There are other strength/weakness aspects that should be factored when making decisions regardless of if a CV is in the game or not. Typically strengt...

It was verified to work that way back when I was a CC. It continues to be "equally weighted among all still-available options". So, if there are 2 Options but there are 19 of Option A and 1 of Option B, then you'd have 19/20 chances for Option A to be next and 1/20 chance for Option B to be next.

It's how our Random Bundles operate.

-

For further reference, Ev1n spoke about it being equal distribution among available options back in August of last year:

At present, the only two ways to attain Depot Tokens

Via direct cash purchase for a 25 Token amount and a 65 Token amount.

Those are a one-time purchase, so that is a max of 90 Tokens.

The first Random Bundle in the Armory which sells Bundles at 250 Doubloons each.

The next Bundle is always revealed, though there is an option to purchase multiple bundles and qualify for discounts.

There's been a lot of feedback requesting additional Tokens. Players are used to being able to complete Bundles and it would require a lot more Tokens to do that. We're aware of this request, but I don't have an update on if additional Tokens will be available.

Note: This is a 3 Day Weekend for the NA Office so it could be an extended wait before we have any additional information (if there ends up being additional information to give).
