10 Minutes waiting for it to check for addons. Now I understand that this might be a network issue so I tried it offline. Same issue. Eventually when it does load and I click on 'continue' again it takes ages to acknowledge that I have done that. Sometimes a cloud save error, sometimes not but an absolute age to wait. In offline mode I have to click 3 or 4 times before it decides to load. If it is offline why the delay? If it is online then sort out your servers, I know it is not my connection. Ubi servers have been terrible for all games ever since the change to Connect.

It never used to be like this so please change it back. Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear you are both having to wait quite some time for it to check for addons.

I don't think this should be a connection issue, as it should just be reading what you have installed.

There's no known issues of this occuring at the moment, so I would suggest to just try a re-installation of the game and any additional content and updates first of all.

Please upload your latest save to the cloud prior reinstalling the game and you will not lose your progress.

Could you please let us know what platform are you playing on? If you are experiencing longer-than-expected load times, please advise us how long does it take?

Is it correct that you did not experience this issue until you upgraded to Windows 11? The process of checking for the add-ons is not something that we have any control over, nor can be prevented, as it is a mandatory part of the launch procedure for the game.  I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this, and would be happy to pass forward any feedback you have relating to the time spent checking for the add-ons.

The Title update 1.5.1 will be deployed on all supported platforms today, April 19th, 2022, therefore would you be so kind to install it and check if the issue still persists?

Hey @chin-chu

This isn't a mass issue affecting many players so it's hard to know what's causing this unfortunately. Please could you try uninstall the game and Ubisoft Connect, then create a new Windows Admin account on your computer. Once you have done this, log in on that new account and reinstall Ubisoft Connect and the game. If you can try installing them on a different drive to before, please also try doing this. Let us know if you still have the error when launching the game again.

Hey @wdg31, thanks for reaching out, welcome to forums and sorry to hear you are affected by this as well.

First and foremost, can I check if you possibly owned the Free Weekend version of the game in the past? If so, can you make sure that all of it is uninstalled and also, I'd suggest to try reinstalling the game completely and see if problem persists.
