Before I installed the last patch the game worked fine. As soon as the patch was installed I go to continue game and it brings up the toon while it boots up and about 20 seconds it crashes. I have looked at every thing in the options and can't seem to be able to get the game to come up. Also I run the benchmark and it does the same thing crashes

Can I ask if you restarted the game client prior to regretting the log? The file is recreated when the game client is opened and the log doesn’t contain much information.

Is this something that happens consistently or has it just happened once so far?

Hey there.

Does the game always crash at the exact same point or is it random crashing since you reached a certain point in the game? If you haven't already done so please attempt all of the steps suggested here first of all and let us know how you get on. Thanks!

Hey @satrincha, thanks for getting through to us and sorry to hear about the crash issue you're having with the latest patch.

Based on the information you've provided, this does sound to be something that we may need to have a closer look at, however in order to cover the ground, taking into account that you've already done some troubleshooting yet to no avail, can I ask you to also make sure you go through steps outlined in the following article (do not do the ones you've already completed) and see if crash persists.

Keep us updated and we will take it from there!

Hello @satrincha , thanks for your reply and my apologies for not getting back to you sooner. Sorry to hear that those crashes still occur even after the completion of all the steps we suggested.

Could you please confirm for me that issue still persists, so i can go ahead and create a support case for you as in this case we need a deeper investigation which requires gathering your system files?

@satrincha I'm sorry to hear that you're still encountering this issue! I do appreciate the clarification that some of the crashes have turned into freezes at this point. Just to clarify a bit, are your game and client on the same drive?

If so, I'd like to take a look at your system files next to see what exactly could be causing this issue for you. Go ahead and grab a copy of both your MsInfo and DxDiag files. Once you have those, submit them via a ticket on our support site specifically for this issue. Then, let me know here that you've done so! Thanks!

@satrincha Hi there, I understand and appreciate your concern about sharing files off of your computer. 
MSINFOS do not directly contain personally identifiable information, and simply put, only display a view of your hardware, system components, and software.
Please rest assured that your information given to us privately is never shared, regardless.

Hey @inqene, thanks for getting through to us, welcome to forums and sorry to hear about the crash issue you ran into.

First and foremost, can I kindly check the following:

  1. Does the game crash on launch or whilst in-game?
  2. Do you receive any error messages at all?
  3. Are you using DX11 or DX12?


In the meantime, for troubleshooting purposes, if you haven't already, give the following steps a go, starting of by verifying your game files first (make sure to also do the rest) and see if that helps.

Hello ingene, thanks for getting back to us.

Did you manage to resolve the issue with crashing by checking your ram, or did you see some kind of error message that referenced your ram, if so, are you able to screenshot this and pop it in the forum thread so we can take a look, if you are still encountering these issues?

Sometimes if you are having an issue with memory it can be either not enough physical ram or not enough virtual ram. You can adjust your Windows virtual ram (pagefile) by doing the following which may help any ram related issues >>

-Press the Windows key and R to bring up the Run toolbox
-Type sysdm.cpl and press enter
-Select the Advanced tab
-Select Performance Settings
-Select Advanced again
-Select the Custom Size check box
-Adjust your page size to a higher number for the drive your game/game launcher uses - set a number for the Initial size then times this by x3 for the maximum size
-Select Set, then OK, then restart your computer

I'm sorry to hear your game is crashing when trying to launch it. Please just run through the steps in this article and just see if there's anything you haven't tried yet first of all, just to rule out any of the most common causes of issues on PC. 

If you still have issues after this, we would need to look into your system files (DX Diag and MSINFO) to get a better look at what could be the cause.
