Hello NuxzaTube, welcome to the forums.

You do not need a SSD to play AC Valhalla and you can play with the game installed to a HDD however SSD is recommended for optimal performance of the game.

The servers will shut down for an unscheduled maintenance on Thursday, October 22nd at 11:00 CEST, 05:00 AM EDT, 02:00 AM PDT.

Estimated downtime is 1 hour.

Maintenance Notes:

  • Fixed an issue where Targeted Loot drop chance was too low when playing with active directives in The Summit.
  • Fixed an issue where loot crates in The Summit would only drop 1 item.
  • Fixed an exploit that allowed agents to farm the final floor (Floor 100) of The Summit.
  • Fixed an issue where the Big Horn Exotic could drop from non-Legendary difficulties.
  • Fixed an issue where the Spark Chest Piece talent would incorrectly activate by weapon damage.

Estimated downtime is 3 hours.

Maintenance Notes:

  • Fixed an issue where players received a Delta-01 error when loading certain characters.
  • Fixed an issue causing suicide drones to not target player skills.
    Store changes: (See post below)
  • Last Resort apparel event is now closed and will no longer be available.
  • Last Resort apparel items are available for purchase with Premium Credits.
  • The Legacy cache will become available with a rotated selection of apparel.

Hey,

I believe there's just more places to talk about games now, that's why it seems more quiet, but I could be wrong. You can still purchase the game to play like the old days, you don't have to subscribe to Uplay+. It's up to you but I do hope you get a chance to play and enjoy it as well. It's only a short time now.

As Locopells said, Uplay will now be called Ubisoft Connect but Uplay + is still the subscription service name. The site is showing Assassin's Creed Valhalla as one of the available games, so you should be good! If you have any other questions, please let us know.
