Hideouts: A Detailed Guide

Hello everyone,

With Hideouts we’re introducing a really exciting new sandbox feature to Albion Online! You’ve probably heard that Hideouts are “open world bases” for your guild - but you may still have questions about how *exactly* they work.

Well, this document tries to answer that question in detail. This is not meant to be an introduction to Hideouts, but rather a guide to the details which may be important for enterprising guild leaders and players make plans for their own Hideouts after the release of Queen.

Hideout Construction Kit
To place a hideout, you need a Hideout construction kit. This is crafted at a Master’s (Tier 6) Toolmaker or higher and requires the following crafting ingredients:

Lands Awakened Update - Hotfix 1

Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where newly built or upgraded Crafting Stations did not have maximum durability:
    • Newly built or upgraded buildings will now have full durability
    • Durability of buildings already affected will be corrected in an upcoming hotfix
  • Resolved an issue where Fame Credits were sometimes not awarded for Fame received immediately before changing zones
  • Fixed an issue that caused resource mobs to only spawn with a single resource instead of full resources. This issue did not affect regular hide mobs; only the following were affected:
    • Dryads, Ore Elementals, Rock Elementals, Cougars, Wood Spirits
  • Fixed an issue where logging out during the tutorial moved characters to starter city after next login

Rites of Spring - Ver. 19.070.1 - April 12, 2022

Spring has returned to Albion! For the next two weeks, the amount of treasure chests that can be found in the open world has significantly increased. Among these, a special new Spring Treasure Chest can be found. In addition to the treasure found in all open world chests, these special chests have a chance to contain unique Spring items (both old and new)!

Just like other open-world chests, Spring Treasure Chests can be spotted on both the Local Map and the World Map. Each chest is protected from being looted for three minutes, so you can guard it for the duration, or try to quickly loot it before the competition shows up.
