Indeed, it seems one of our programmers was quite keen on some additional tasty snacks

Would be really neat :)

That is very unlikely. Many of our streams are running on internal dev builds that are often not compatible/ would cause issues when being used alongside the live game (because various features may not be fully implemented/ working yet in those builds).

I agree that it looks nice, and all praise for that goes to our QA team! They always kick ass with providing us with the save games we need for our streams, presentations or trailers, even when the request comes on short notice (*cough, cough*) <3

in this sub i have seen such extreme beauties, incrediable designs that this city just looks rushed and poorly done.

To be honest, it should not come as a surprise to you that a city that a player has spent dozens or even hundreds of hours of playtime building up may look more impressive than one we can spend a few hours on after the build is ready for the stream.

Our job is after all to develop games and new content for players to build beautiful cities with, not to do so ourselves :)

Are you trolling us, Ubisoft, with the "1.305 clicks saved" mention?

I don’t know what you mean?

Understood. Thank you for keeping us updated through reddit as well. I would assume that if there is going to be a season 3, it would be announced around the time lol gets released as was the case for season 2 and the passage. Either way, I look forward to the GU 9 and lol news that will be coming soon.

I have it on good authority that someone got bored and wrote 1400 words of DevBlog about all the quality-of-life improvements coming with game Update 9. And that you may read it in 24 hours or less :)

We are looking into issues with Anno 2070, but I can't give an ETA yet.

That is an interesting change in how season 3 is mentioned. Earlier in the summer, you stated that it was currently not planned (but dependant on season 2 sales). Now it has changed to nothing has been announced yet. Reading tea leaves, this could mean that a season 3 is at least being seriously considered/evaluated.

Reading tea leaves is always fun and I love to do so myself for other games I am looking forward to, but keep in mind that unless we say there is a Season 3 coming, the default expectation should be that development of Anno 1800 will end in 2020.

May be too soon to ask... but will there be a season 3??

So, here is the thing with such questions, and the way corporate communications work. Ubisoft is a major, publicly-traded video game publisher, and while Anno is certainly a much smaller brand than some of our other titles like Assassin's Creed or Rainbow Six Siege, there are still a lot of stakeholders involved when it comes to announcing new content, to ensure that it is revealed simultaneously to all of our worldwide players on all five continents.

That also means that until something is officially announced, everyone’s hands at communicating are fairly tied. You will notice that I sometimes tease or hint at upcoming stuff here on reddit, but that usually only pertains to stuff that has already been announced or is to some degree known to the community. IN other words: If I knew that we would be announcing a Season 3 tomorrow, I would still today have to say that we haven’t announced any plans for new content beyond Season 2. So, while you are of course more than welcom...

Hello Hier0nimus,

Very nice work, thank you for sharing this information with the community! I'm sure many achievement hunters can find this very useful!

Yes, you can use all DLCs in the same game (assuming you also have the Anarchist character, you would have to select him as an AI opponent during setup). I would recommend sandbox for that, unless you want to play through the campaign again. And once you unlock the Cape Trelawney session from Sunken Treasures, you will get a huge island that should help to solve your space problems.

You do not! Once it is out, you can just download Land of Lions. Thanks for supporting us, and buying the Season 2 Pass :)

The tiniest crumb, you say? There is another big new gameplay system besides the already announced irrigation.

And we will likely detail Game Update 9 before we talk about Land of Lions.

That’s two crumbs right there!
