:O
That's now!

That's now!
Well, the people here in the team can already play, so I guess that is technically "now"?
May be the question has been answered before, but I wonder how the system would be, like 1 current inbestor / ing residence = 1 skyscrapper? Ot it would be kind of joined thing? Like join 4 houses into one?
That's a good question that I am sure will be answered in a future DevBlog.

I was gonna say "This Summer?", but I guess yours works as well, Oli.
and when will we get more details?

Okay, when is the release?
This Summer :)
Does Tier 4 mean, we can upgrade houses multiple times, each time adding a new floor to maybe Tier 4??
I feel like I have heard the term "tier" used elsewhere in Anno, but I can't quite place my finger on it...
Of course, but since they didn't say anything about it (except "early development") I was kinda afraid tbh. But I'm glad, this looks amazing !
We did actually explain it a bit :)
Q: The skyscrapers in the gameplay footage to “The High Life” look strange, just like extended Investor residences.
A: Many of you have pointed out that the skyscrapers prototype footage seen in the Season 3 trailer and stream look suspiciously as if someone had just “stretched” our existing investor residences higher- which is coincidentally exactly what they are! It is very common in game development to try and reach a playable prototype state for experimentation as quickly as possible by “kitbashing” any existing assets and features you already have, so you can first test a feature’s potential before wasting valuable time only to find out later that it wasn’t much fun in the first place.
This is an aspect of development that is rarely seen outside of perhaps “making of” videos and usually never makes it into a proper trailer, though in this case we chose to do so as we thought it would be cool to give ...
Right... and why is that? Why am I forced to purchase the very same product twice?
No one is forcing you to buy anything. You can still play Anno 1404 in single-player, while the servers were turned of last month after being online for almost 12 years. The server shutdown is not related to the History Edition.
The History Edition makes a range of improvements on which we have worked for months, which you can find out more about here:
It is :)
Congratulations, welcome to the 1800 community :)
