I am honestly baffled that anyone would be offended by this in any way. I don’t celebrate Chinese New Year’s for example, but I am always happy to see if featured as an event in some games I play for those who do, while adding some visual variety for everyone.

It also doesn’t contain any overtly religious symbolism, while fitting right into the timeframe and culture depicted in the game.
