Given the way this year is going, they could just be stoked to be alive.

whats meaning of "la carte purchases" ?

Think of a restaurant- some people may buy a set menu that includes a starter, main dish and a dessert. That is the Season Pass.

And others prefer to freely pick and choose the specific things they want from the menu ("la carte", in French). So à la carte means that instead of buying a bundle, you can pick and deice for each pack if you want to have it or not :)

Think of it like seasons of a TV series, with the different DLCs being episodes. So the Season Pass 1 gives you the three DLCs that came out in 2019, Season has three DLCs from 2020, and the Season 3 Pass will do the same with the three DLCs coming in 2021. That does not mean that they are time-limited, but that you can get the DLCs released during that Season at a lower price.

For Season 1 and 2, you can each save 10€ by buying the Pass versus stand-alone, plus you get some exclusive cosmetic content. We haven't announced pricing for Season 3 yet, but you can expect a similar approach to offering some savings, and some exclusive cosmetic content.

I'll do you one better by even being the Brand Manager ;)

There are no plans for that, no. They are by design intended to be à la carte purchases.

Hello GeilerHengst36, welcome to the forum.

I am moving this to general discussion section of the forum as this is more of a gameplay advice question, hopefully one of our players or the community team will be able to give you some tips!

Earlier this Summer, we said that there were "currently no plans" for a Season 3, which was accurate at the time. We have however very clearly and definitely said that we won't be adding land combat to Anno 1800, without any qualifiers like "currently" or so attached.

The specific issue the reviews are referring to was fixed earlier this year.

It is not, but getting the complete edition should still be the best deal to get game plus both Season Passes for now. Enjoy!

I can neither confirm nor deny the presence of any hints towards potential Season 3 content anywhere.

Why the heck would you call it the Complete Edition then? Misleading wording like that is a violation of (European) consumer protection laws - ein Fall für den Verbraucherschutz.

The product description lists all of the content in the different editions. If it doesn't list any specific content, it is not going to be included.

It won't be, no.

give me some big monuments to build like clocktowers and such

The second page is unrelated to that, and was just an old placeholder.

I think you are not alone in the community with that.

Strictly speaking, I guess you once gave money to them, and then kept going with it :)
