Definitely the History Edition. It should be the same price on digital storefronts (in fact, we removed the Gold Edition from all the places that sells the History Edition), and it is all-around more pleasant to play on modern PCs, while having the same content.
Nope mine don’t, they stopped coming back in May last year, in a rare bug that has been known about since beta but still hasn’t been fixed. When ever I remind them they say it’s still under investigation, meanwhile we have now had 2 full seasons of content with a 3rd on the way, and BB show no sign of giving a shit about fixing it.
Hey there, going by your description you're still playing an old savegame? To my knowledge, the issue should be fixed since GU 4 in July last year. Unfortunately, not all fixes can be applied to existing savegames.
If you started a savegame after this date and encounter this issue, let us know.

Hey, could you try downloading the latest optional driver for your GPU? It should be 20.11.3. We had some players report issues on the 20.11.2 driver when using a 5700XT. I hope that helps!

You can ask questions about Anno or our work in the text chat and the Anno team, represented by Thorlof, Com_Raven and Seraphine will go through them one by one in the voice channel.
The session is split in two parts, with a German one from 7 to 8 PM CET and an English one from 8:30 to 9:30 PM CET (2:30 PM EST, 11:30 AM PST).

Depends on what DLC you want to use- you can already have up to 5 sessions if you use Sunken Treasures, The Passage and Land of Lions all in the same game!
Have the ubisoft connect rewards been fixed? Can we use skins and monuments again?
This is something that needs to be resolved on the Ubisoft Connect side, not via a Game Update for Anno 1800.
