You can check in-game: If you can build the 3 new ornaments, the purchase went through fine :)

We're not aware of any workaround right now, but our team is investigating the issue and we'll let you know when we have more info.

We're currently looking into this issue. Could you let us know if it only appears when you're doing something or also when the game is running without you doing any actions?

Right now we're not aware of any workaround.

Because they are added by building the expansion buildings. It's the same with the fourth item slot in the trade unions, those are also separated like that.

Correct. The top 3 ones are part of the Docklands Main Wharf, the slots below are the ones added when building the harbormaster modules.

Hey Thorlof, I'm sure you've seen the amount of posts asking for new ships. Please reconsider adding a couple more ship types in the future. Docklands would be a wonderful theme for them. You'd do a great community service. Doesn't have to be end-game necessarily. More variety is always better. Keep up the great work on the game. It really is a wonderful thing.

We did, yes. While Docklands (releasing in 2 weeks) is too close to quickly rush out 3 more ships, as you might imagine, we'll be looking at the topic once more and see if we can add additional ships later on.

As with so many things in game development, it's a matter of available time and resources - and prioritizing where to put those resources. If our devs are working on additional ships, another feature or addition might not make it into the game, for example.

Btw, are the team behind Anno 1800 Europeans? They seem so European to me!

Well, depends how you want to look at it :) We are based in Germany, and are part of a French company. Our studio language is English, and we had 13+ different nationalities work on the game during its development, including non-Europeans :)

As for the trailer, you have 1 1/2 Germans in there :)

Docklands DLC will feature a way to get the ship which Captain Tobias uses to exchange goods with our docklands. There were no hints to more seasons and speaking about any further seasons makes no sense now, since we're nowhere close to being done with season 3, not even single DLC has been released yet.

I disagree somewhat- the store listings are always very clear as to what content they include (in the case of the Complete Edition, Season Passes 1+2). If something is not listed as being included, then you should not expect it.

Don't get me wrong, I fully understand that from the player perspective, it is great to know that you buy a certain version of the game, and then you will have everything (like with Battlefield Premium back in the day), but that also greatly limits our flexibility as developers.

Seasons 2 and 3 were not something that we had always planned to do, but decided at the end of the previous season because we saw that players were still playing a lot, and asking us for more content. However, a new season of content is not cheap to create, and if we couldn't sell those Season 2/ 3 Passes to players, this additional content would likely not happen.

And contrary to something like Battlefield (going back to your example of Premium), Anno is not...

Yes, all Season 3 DLCs can be integrated into your existing saves once again.

A question : I bought the complete edition a while back, is this included or do I have to buy it separately?

That is a separate purchase.

You are right that it would make sense for your citizen's happiness to be increased by having a nearby amusement park (well, for the ones that like them, at least!). However, we made a conscious decision with the Cosmetic DLCs to be purely, well, cosmetic, and not to have any gameplay effects that you could not get otherwise.

That's what differentiates them from the gameplay-relevant content of the Season Pass DLCs, and so far we think this split is working well, and giving our players the most freedom to pick and chose what content is exciting to them.

We're going to release a detailed DevBlog on the Anno Union next week explaining the Docklands DLC in detail :)

Looks fantastic! Loving all of the updates. I'm a bit concerned about the aesthetics of the skyscrapers, but I hope they won't clash too much!

The design there is not final as we're still early in development here, but we wanted to give you a first glimpse at how the skyscrapers can change the skyline of your city.

Since they will be modular, the final look will definitely be different.

Let’s hope they will interconnect the DLCs this time. They have previously stated that no DLC will require another one to play.

But just providing goods from the old world to your tourists is kinda boring IMO.

There is some possible interconnection between the DLC planned, but always optional.

We only gave you a quick overview for "Tourist Season" and "The High Life" yesterday and will go more into detail in the coming months.

Be assured: places like the restaurant are not "just" a public building like the pub, for example.

I was hoping for a WW I/II themed story line in Season 3. A new region that introduces you to the far east with a Japanese Empire Antagonist and a second round of naval fights. Submarines, aircraft carriers and air battles. Maybe even introduce a new system for land fights.

Only a triumphed player in this great war would have access to all the nice things that are actually planned here.

That would be my take if I had the choice to season 3 but the devs are to eager to rush out minor systems to continue milking as unassuming crowd :\ .

No offense- but if you were expecting/ hoping for something based on the biggest tragedies in human history from an Anno game, then I think you haven't really been paying attention to the series and what it is about.
