Hello dko5, thank you for replying my question.
When I installed apex, the game wont let me change the aspect ratio and resolution. But like 3 or 5 days ago I am able to change the aspect ratio and resolution. Then on the next day when I tried to launch the game, failed to creategamewindow error popped up.
My laptop is capable of using resolution like 1280x720 on 16:9 and etc. Its working with other games. I really love playing apex and turning down the resolution is a massive fps boost for me.
I think I just updated my nvidia driver to the latest one 2 days ago. Anyway I will try to do a clean install of my gpu driver. A quick question, which one should I do clean install? I have two graphics card because im using a laptop, the nvidia one or intel? And is there any specific version you want me to clean install it?

Install the 417 version of the NVIDIA driver, and then make sure that the NVIDIA control panel is set to use the NVIDIA GPU in Apex instead of your Integrated graphics.
I’m actually worried that they’re still investigating crashes at this point instead of fixing. It means they’ve been unable to recreate it which makes it incredibly hard to fix. I don’t think Respawn has the resources to dedicate a ton of people to this while also doing other stuff. Sucks.
There have been numerous fixes already deployed. The nature of a lot of the PC issues have been tough to nail down for everyone and their configurations - but rest assured we're working day and night on it. Then there's the additional wrinkle that even if we've fixed certain issues we can't just package that up and ship it out to you guys immediately - releasing a patch requires a lot of time from QA to ensure we're not breaking more stuff, and then it has to actually go through the process to get in your hands. As a result we tend to do slightly more fixes in a single patch when they're riskier like that so that we're not multiplying our QA time across the board - ultimately getting the game in a more stable place for everyone, faster.
Thanks for the patience. With tens of millions of players its been quite the, ahem, "adventure" getting to the bottom of some of these issues :)

Seems the crashing fixes are biased towards Nvidia, what about us AMD folks who crash 1 in 2 matches even after following all the troubleshooting steps? Funny enough the game worked fine for the first week, after I bought the founders pack is when the game started crashing to desktop reliably.
We're working with both AMD and NVIDIA. Have you tried going through the troubleshooting thread? There are recommended driver versions that you should ensure you're running as well.
Additionally, I've seen a lot of people with issues that go away once they stop overclocking their GPU and/or CPU.
Colorblind settings need serious fixing. Can’t see the red crosshair against a lot of the environmental backdrops. Please change something. Love the game but it’s tough to play like this.
What type of color blindness do you have? Are there any games that have really nailed this feature for you personally?
Hello, could you guys do something about the resolution lock? It seems my game resolution is locked and there is no other resolution and aspec ratio available to change ingame. Only one resolution available and that is 1366x768.
The aspect ratios and resolutions shown in game are pulled directly from what Windows reports your machine is capable of. I would suggest a clean install of your video card drivers, perhaps.
To add to this - I noticed this post only mentions crashes on PC. I have been crashing on Xbox rather frequently for the past 5 days. It happens at random, I get the red clock/timer icon in the top right of my screen and the game freezes. Then I am D/Ced from the match and party chat. It is getting extremely frustrating as this happens roughly every 3 to 4 matches.
Also I have no major connection issues with any other games I play or other online activities.... And I was able to play the game just fine with no crashes for the first several days after release.
That sounds like bandwidth - are you on wifi by any chance? If so, I'd highly recommend going wired ethernet.
Please don’t change the gun meta too much. There are a lot of whiners, and they are very loud, and they are very much in the minority. Right now, it feels like every gun except for the Moz, P2020, and Alternator can be used to compete. Please don’t make the same mistakes Destiny 1 made in their multiplayer and go nerf happy, because it will make the meta even more shallow.
We're being very thoughtful about any changes we make and look at lots of factors including player feedback.
When are we getting a release date for the BattlePass?

So I've noticed that you've said that you're working with nVidia to try and fix the crashes. But myself and I'm sure plenty of others play with an AMD card. Are we going to have to wait longer for a fix or is the problem similar to that of nVidia cards problems?
We are actively looking into the Graphics Card asserts in-general but we just called out the nvidia crashes as those are the ones we are ping'd about every single day both on the web and in person lol

HITBOXES
We are aware of the feedback around the hitbox differences between characters. This is an area that definitely needs improvement and we will be addressing it in the future.
SKYDIVING SUPER DISTANCES
We’ve applied some fixes that should address the issue where players could fly much further than intended. We’re continuing to hunt down and address any exploits that pop up so thank you to everyone that’s been capturing and reporting them. If so, my semi-educated guess: you might, in the heat of combat, be pressing on the right stick enough to trigger the "Melee" button press.
The peacekeeper correlation likely comes from it being such a tense wait-for-it-wait-for-it-FIRENOW type of weapon.
As a quick test, try this: Go into your gamepad settings, switch to "Button Puncher", instead of default. This puts Melee on the 'B' button instead of Right Stick.
Then play for a bit, and see if the problem has magically gone away. =)
(If this "solves" in, then my only recommendation from there is - if you want to keep Melee on RS - to learn to relax your grip a bit. Probably easier said than done, of course!)

There was a small patch we pushed today for PC with a fix for the Twitch Prime Loot exploit on PC. With this update, the Omega Point Pathfinder skin will be removed from any accounts that obtained it using the exploit.
