We just pushed a fix live for this.. hopefully, that sorts it once n for all with no edge cases.

Comment

By restart they mean relaunch the application, though we may be dropping a minor client-side version soon if some improvements check out to the move-to detection.

By glitch through the universe, do you mean it fell through the world?

Darn, roger that. Thanks for the info.

They're onto us. Abort!

Yeah, I was. I figured they would have actually fixed it - but, yeah, nope.

Just to confirm it was using the pinwheel move to option, and this just happened an hour ago?

It's something we're investigating at the moment, so adding your info here would be helpful:

The smaller the structure this reproduces on, the better it'll be :)

They're the same across both.

I can do this when I am off work for you or see if I have a crew mate online to do this. We are in the EU PVE server. On Ardown Peninsula.

When you're back from work would be good, will need the precise spot

Been waiting since the patch came out. I check on it every day and still at 0. I held off expanding my garden. I only have 6 small plots. I have not checked to see if we place it on a mountain though it would make a difference.

The new ones I placed were 1 day after the patch and the most recent a few days ago. Can some one send a screen shot of them placing one so I can determine how it is suppose to look.

Able to get me the CCC for your Island? Next to the reservoir will be best. Also please include your network :)

Must be a bug, we unclaimed a 15 point island to have enough points for a bigger one, worked instantly. We demolished the flag on the small one seconds before we put down the new one.

Was indeed a bug related to transitioning, but should be fixed now.

It's something that's still being investigated at the moment.

So 5 out of 6 maps are glitched with Guardians fall thru the mesh. Took us an hour to get our bear out from under the mesh we had to grapple it and move it to the ship.

Mind shooting me the CCC?

Highly frustrating bug, sorry Tasty. We've been iterating on this over the past week, so to save some headache we're going to be temporarily disabling the move-to function pinwheel on Offiicals until we've got it fully resolved. The plan is to reenable it within a few days once it's sorted out.

Dude are you joking? Have you actually not even played this game at all? Treasure maps meshing is the reason I personally left this game. There are so many problems with them it's not even funny.

The fact that your comment makes it looks like you didn't know about this previously removes any hope I had left for the future of this game. f**king RIP. What a goddamned shame.

With the Hoppening Update that went out on Friday 10PM PST, we made some changes to how the game would determine where to spawn treasure. This wouldn't have impacted old maps, as they would still use the old locations. If there are new maps which are causing problems, having some locations (CC or even grid info) would help us identify edge cases to have those resolved too.

Depends on what areas you do maps in. If its a grid that has the unusually high mountains and sheer rock walls. Just throw em all away. Unfortunately our grid is surrounded by those islands. Even the polar ones we have done were all f**ked but for different reasons.

Hard to believe you have such a high ratio of maps that are possible. Lucky you I guess

Could you let me know which islands you were playing around?

Edit: Okay, we've identified an edge case where it may have appeared in a location that wouldn't have been viable, it's being fixed now but won't be retroactive (i.e old maps won't be fixed). It'll still be good to get any grid locations where you find yourself having issues and we'll investigate from there.
