I started off by answering phones for EA Help in 2010. Moved up quickly. Within 7 months I was Lead forum Admin. Then worked on social channels for 3 years. Then as NA CM for the last 4.

Right on.

BS. anything valid that you don't want to hear or want it to become a community wide complaint you label "non-constructive" and ban. don't try to sugarcoat it by lying.

Okay then. I won’t waste your time or mine with this. Have a great day.

Alright, but since slugs still have some spread pellets that seem to 1shot in close, what's the benefits from not going slugs? The 2 extra lethal meters?

It's an animation issue. Slugs shouldn't be showing the buckshot animation. Some builds with some specializations do though. Makes it impossible to use with certain setups.

Comment

animation for slugs with certain specializations still shows a buck shot instead of a slug round. Is broke.

Yeah, and then he posts short clips on Twitter, where you can see other players using the chat to tell him to go fix the game before playing it.

So I guess he should both play more of the game, and also less of it.

I guess you need to be some sort of Schrödinger's player, /u/DRUNKKZ3

I would love that or just days that are longer than 24 hours :D

Based on what you said you understand why it's spoilered. Because people haven't seen the series yet. It's just respectful, simple as that.

Is it necessary for you to keep asking why there is a spoiler on a single post on a single sub on a single day? Obviously people agree with it being marked as spoiler.

I absolutely agree, which is why I’ve never banned anyone for their opinion. If they violate the forum rules, there’s consequences that are enforced by the forum mod team.

This is like watching Valkyrie and being surprised that Hitler wasn't assassinated.

If that movie was just released last week and people were posting scenes from it, we would mark it as spoiler alert.

HBO Chernobyl is a historical drama television miniseries (per Wiki). So it's assumed people know what it is about, but portrayed by actors in director's vision of the minor details (cause they can't really change major details unless explicitly stating what they changed, which they did for several things after some episodes).

WW2 movies I've seen at least weren't made to be absolutely historically accurate but just tell a story (based on real events or not) in the WW2 setting. Sure I wouldn't want Saving Private Ryan spoiled, but that's not even a true story, just based on a similar case from WW2.

Edit: Would you spoiler tag Omaha beach landing right after Saving Private Ryan came out? It's silly, we can argue semantics till tomorrow, Chernobyl reactor 4 exploding on screen is not a spoiler.

I absolutely would mark things as spoilers if Saving Private Ryan just came out and people were posting clips of it.

A spoiler by definition is

"information about the plot of a motion picture or TV program that can spoil a viewer's sense of surprise or suspense"

Since some people have not seen the series then the scenes themselves are a surprise. Not just the reactor exploding, but even the interactions of the scene with the characters, as well as the set itself..

I fail to believe you can't comprehend this, come on.

Holy shit chill, I mean yes I thought the same as you did, but as I was saying, we know what happened, and I don't think a spoiler tag is really necessary, but yes, maybe the scenes could be a "spoiler" since they haven't watched those clips.

EDIT: I know it doesn't affect my life, but is it really necesarry?

I grew up south of Houston, then moved to Austin in 2005, where I met my wife and started working in the games industry. Moved to LA a little over 2 yrs ago.

It’s not the easiest job, and there are times when it is frustrating, but that’s mainly because I’m a gamer above anything and it hurts me to see the community in such disarray due to game issues. But overall, I love this job and community.
