I'd disagree that it is an afterthought, every time news releases they post it here, twitter and on the BF forums. But I'd also say of those three mediums, people here take things way too far the most often.

Dude pulled out 20-30 feet in front of me, perpendicular to my lane (I was in the right side of the right lane and he pulled right into my lane to take a left, completely blocking the lane). I was going 38mph and did my best to slow down and hard swerve left. Ended up clipping his bumper and Black Bess and I met the asphalt. Had to walk with crutches for 2 days, major road rash on my right arm, and some deep bruises to my knee, ankle, hip, and elbow.
But I’ll be alright. And Bess still runs. We both just have some cosmetic damage. ;)
I really don't get this u/braddock512. I'm a time poor gamer who just wants to jump on when I can and I keep missing out on time gated modes that are received well e.g. Rush, Duos, and Fortress. They're here one second and gone another.
DICE then removes Frontline, the mode that I play the most.
It's literally like DICE is trying to make it as hard as possible for me to play now I've bought the game.
Everything at the moment feels like you're just taking things away from the game.

Making sure it works properly (and early by one day) instead of hoping automatic publishing works 100% is a smart call IMO. It works doesn't it? Take it for what it is, one day early access.

Like I said, u/tiggr, it's not about facts, but more about the impression I got. It even saddens myself, since I'm a big fan and even try to be a voice of reason on reddit and twitter, while almost everyone else is overly critical and negative.

Is it true Dom and Frontlines are being removed permanently?
Yes/No - depends on how you look at it.
Both modes are having there permanent status removed. They won't appear as dedicated, and seperate playlists on the Matchmaking screen anymore.
They're not being deleted or Banished to the Shadow Realm. They'll re-appear as parts of Tides of War chapters, but become content we rotate in and out rather than content that is here to stay.

My heart nearly stopped the other day when I saw that there was a stack of Chauchat skins being rotated in for the week...
....then I looked a bit closer and realised I was looking at BF1 😅
I feel bad for the guys that make these community posts, they genuinely must be handed this and think “aw shit here we go again”
The alternative would be that we didn't talk to people about changes like this and for me and /u/braddock512, that's not acceptable.
The good news is that we're top of the call sheet when they're looking to build out new playlists for Tides of War rotations so we're at least happy that folks are willing to engage with us to help us shape what those will look like.
Elite sets are characters / personality flairs in their own right rather than just an outfit, unfortunately, you are not able to mix and match with an Elite set.
Known issue that has been passed onto the team, a way to resolve this without leaving the match would be to deploy - go to redeploy in the menu and it should hopefully refresh the screen. Sorry for the inconvenience this is causing though, Sheepishmike!
