There are some things you can try or troubleshoot through, although your best bet is to contact EA Help for assistance on this.

I would initially suggest this is a message where a child lock or parental lock has been placed on an account, though in some cases it can also appear for other things too.

Your EA account and Xbox account may have become unlinked, you could try fixing that yourself with steps here.

Again though, if you want this resolved quickly, you should contact EA Help and speak to an agent in resolving this with you. ...

A fair few things wrong with this and we need to check ourselves a little.

  1. It's often detrimental to attach oneself to rumours, there are lots of them out there for so many different things, if you believed them all, you'd probably have some difficulties from the sheer amount of disappointment you'd receive when 99% of them aren't true.
  2. Plastering some guys identity on a subreddit with no absolute fact or proof, just the sakes of a few words is not okay at all. Please pay attention to what you're doing rather than going for upvotes or attention or even just jokes.
  3. If we had anything to announce in regards to a new Community Manager (we do not), that information would come from EA Star Wars rather than any individual first. It is also important to understand that Ben wasn't just a Community Manager, he was a Lead and also a core part of DICE Stockholm too in fielding things around the team and to the community.

Bit concerned about the 'lose all your progress' remark. Could you give me some context?
Your progression is saved online, it's on our servers and therefore cannot really be lost - only when our stat servers are having issues, but it usually comes right back within a couple of hours.

Let me know, have you tried contacting support too?

Thanks for the effort placed in putting all of this together, i'll go through it and pass things onto the team as best as I can. Let's be honest, no game will ever be bug free, that's a tall feat to achieve. But it's lists like these and the reports placed on Answers HQ that help us work towards that.

You're still able to uninstall the game from your hard drive, make sure your game is out of the PS4 before doing so, but push options and then go to 'delete'. Reinsert your disc and it'll start up the process of installation again.

Hey Obi, your progress is saved in the cloud/our servers. If at any point there is an issue with your game, your progress would never be affected (outside of any server issues we have, but it is restored as soon as we can).

This is a bit of an odd one, especially when we're talking on a console. Used to see this on PC but not a console. I would suggest that you reinstall your game and see if this resolves it. If it does not, I would advise that you contact EA Help to pursue some troubleshooting steps further.

I'm sure the individuals whose responsibility it is to set these events up has considered it, personally not sure on it ever happening though.

While i'd personally love to see it happen, I wouldn't even begin to wonder the sort of impact that has on progression and even the servers too... Imagine a ton of people progressing at 4 times the rate things were originally intended to be at? Would be mental in my eyes, but that's just my thoughts :D
