I subscribed to your recycling center and now I have garbage issues due to while still being subscribed to them, they do not show up in game. I have them in the AppData\Colossal Order/AddOns\Mods folder and not in the workshop folder.

This is quite off-topic here, but I'd need more info to help. Which versions ... Read more

Best to try a complete clean install of the launcher then, by following the steps here:

Nope, the first Network Skins couldn't affect road colors. But you might be thinking of Road Options, which can change color settings for a road on a global level.

Have you tried deleting the LauncherAssets folder and starting the launcher? It should then redownload those files.

Does the game show 0/0 mods or does the vanilla mods (Unlimited Money, Unlock All, etc) show up?

If you're looking for a map named "Sunset Harbor" there isn't one. The maps that come with Sunset Harbor are Azure Gulf, Crater Falls, Desert Oasis, Fisher Enclave and Swamplands.

If you add the launch options -noWorkshop and -disableMods to Steam and test on a new city, does it also happen then? Or does it show up like normal?

Does this also happen if you use the launch options -noWorkshop and -disableMods in Steam?

How To Set Launch Options
  • Right-click on the game title under the Library in Steam and select Properties.
  • Enter the launch options you wish to apply in the box (be sure to separate each code with a space) and click OK. Should look like this:
    -noWorkshop -disableMods
  • Close the game's Properties window and launch the game.

As Cities: Skylines approaches #PDXCON Remixed, we see your messages and inquiries about future plans for the game and know that so many of you are excited about what’s to come. So are we!
We can confirm that we are currently working on a project with Colossal Order, but it is still too early in development to share more information at this time.

Do tune-in during the event though, as we still have a surprise or two in store for the Cities: Skylines community... So keep sharing your stellar city builds, awesome assets, and amazing mods!

Here's a few guides to set it up. Just make sure to remove the automatic pagefile on C: so Windows doesn't try using that and instead uses the large one you set up on another drive.

I did this for years without problems, though that was while I was still on Windows 7, so I can't comment on whether Windows 10 is more fussy or not.

It's a lot harder to find as we have more assets on the workshop than the page counter can handle. But you can go into each category, sort by Most Recent, go to the very last page and see what the first one for that category was. Then compare the time and dates posted of the assets.

This was the very first prop:

I don't know about the first assets, but the very first mod was All Spaces Unlockable

Off the top of my head problems with your graphics driver come to mind. Check for the latest driver for your GPU from the vendor's website and do a clean install of it.

I've had dreams where I was planning out my next workshop asset. xD Never had any for city building - at least not any that I remember! :P

AquilaSol has a great guide to modding, which includes recommendations for where to start. I highly recommend checking it out.

That sounds like it isn't able to reach its destination. Check the tracks to make sure there aren't some areas where the corners are too tight and the tracks are broken.

Originally posted by sh: same here, since this morning. did not add or updated any mod. CS started to load while "updating steam", and thats it - black screen and the game won't load.

Looks like the launcher updated and had an issue in the process. Please try the steps described here:

Sounds like the custom thumbnail is the issue. It might be too high resolution or a format that Steam doesn't accept.
