This should have minimal impact on Cities: Skylines, as the game isn't really affected by whether or not you are logged in to your PDX account. For us mods and assets are handled through Steam, so it's really just the Paradox Plaza park asset that might act up. And of course the forum will be unavailable for a while.

On the main menu of the game, does it show as owned on the list of DLCs on the left? If it does, then you are looking for this icon. The CCPs have their own little submenus, so all the assets are in one place. For Train Stations you will see this one under Public Transport, all the way to the right, next to the hubs.

Assets (meaning buildings, props, trees, vehicles, etc) only very rarely need to be updated. Exceptions are of course assets that rely on a mod, that might become outdated or break.

For mods I recommend checking this community list of known broken and incompatible mods. It's a great resource to avoid broken mods and find replacements for the ones that are no longer updated.

It's worth noting that there's a separate autosave option for the editors, found in the same place in Options.

To easily find the missing dependencies you can use the Loading Screen Mod's report option (found in Options). Or you can add the number of the name to the end of this URL, since that's the SteamId number.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=

For the first one you just add 816325876 to the URL and it gets you this:

How far into the game do you get? Do you see the Paradox Launcher? Do you get to the main menu of the game? Can you start a new city? And do you use any custom workshop content?

Which DLCs do you have? Are they all missing or just some? Are they enabled in the list when you check through Steam, but do not show as own in-game on the main menu?

This is what I got when using the Loading Screen Mod

Is that also the case with Save Or Saves enabled as well as the Safe Mode options from the Loading Screen Mod?

Strange! The link I posted takes me to the correct place, where yours lands me at the CS general forum.

My guess is you have an outdated mod that's messing with things. Check your mods against this list of known broken and incompatible mods and get replacements where available.

That's completely expected and how things should be. RAM is much faster than using the pagefile and needed for certain things. The pagefile is "makeshift RAM" and used to "park" some things that are lower priority. The ideal situation is to have enough RAM to not really need the pagefile.

Make sure your antivirus and Windows Defender (if on Windows) has cities.exe listed as an allowed/trusted app.

If that doesn't help, we'll need the output_log.txt to see what's happening. I recommend posting on the official support forums, so we can look into it. Steam just isn't great for support as you can't attach files here.

Did you restart the game between the first error and loading the older save? When you use mods, you should never to a 2nd load (loading a save after having already loaded one, without restarting the game), as this breaks some mods and causes weird things to happen.

It's one of two things depending on the size of the rocks. For large rocks (they're technically buildings) it's collision being disabled, which is usually something you switch on/off through a mod like Fine Road Anarchy 2.

For smaller rocks which are props, it's the settings you have with Prop and Tree Anarchy. Networks and buildings do not remove these props, only hides them, so they're back when you remove the roads or buildings. Enabling anarchy for props and trees stops this behavior.

That looks like a simulation error is happening. Your best options to try and recover the save from that is these two mods:

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=667342976
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=529129546

Subscribe to and enable both mods. Restart the game and go into Options, find the Loading Screen Mod on the left, then find and enable the Safe Mode options.... Read more

I suggest using Theme Mixer 2 instead. It lets you swap between theme settings much easier, so you can easily have snow without losing the settings from your regular theme mix.

With a 40GB full pagefile I would recommend you reduce the amount of workshop content you're using or upgrade your RAM.

You're running out of available memory. As you already have a full 32 GB pagefile my recommendation is to reduce custom content or increase your RAM. Also make sure to shut down any other apps that might be using memory while the game runs.
