It’s exciting to see how many new players are entering the Throne War each day (remember, only Backers have the ability to join and play now - once we hit Closed Beta registered players will be invited to join and play by Beta group based on when you registered). We know that getting started can sometimes be confusing particularly when there are two servers to choose from (see “Choosing your Crowfall server”) that each offer a different gameplay experience.

LIVE SERVER: THE ADVENTURE STARTS HERE

Our recommendation is for new Crows to first wet your beaks in the LIVE test environment. @SAM_BUKA, the questions were handed off to the team. When/if they are answered comes down to time. Everyone who can answer the questions is eyeballs deep in addressing the issues that are preventing us from sparking up a new Dregs campaign. (We're close, but not quite there yet.) I hope you'll agree that we're putting our energy in the right place and it's worth a delay in getting answers to extra live stream questions.

The pantheon got a little switcheroo to better fit the direction of the lore and the game. Valkyn is now included in the Sun realm (he was floating off by himself before), Zaleena is in Earth, and Illara is in Moon. Hero is not included in the pantheon proper, but retains his title of First Crow.

You can register for the free closed beta on our site - which I know you've done since you were able to post here. To get access now, you need to be a backer, someone who has purchased any of the starter packs. All of them include immediate access to playtesting as well as a digital download of the game at launch. (Cost of the game will be $50. The least expensive starter pack is $50 so it's kinda the same as a pre-order.)

We don't have an ETA yet for when closed beta will begin. Register, make sure you have opted in to receive our emails (you can double-check this on your Account page), and you'll receive an invitation via email to join beta when the time comes.

Sorry to hear about the download issues. Please continue to report when you experience it. We are investigating potential causes and actively seeking a way to resolve it.

First, it's our policy not to discuss disciplinary actions or warnings with anyone except the individual in question, so I won't comment on the specifics of any suspensions/bans/warnings/such and so on. I can talk about the Rules of Conduct and Terms and Conditions in general, though!
We take the use of slurs very seriously. We don't like them and we won't tolerate them. There are plenty of nice, snappy curses that are wholly permitted in-game. Pick a different word.
