No problem, I’ve restored your weapon.

Please ensure the items are unequipped, and let me know once done. Thank you!

Could you try playing without mods, and upload the corresponding log here please? Sometimes the mod-related spam in the logs can cloud what we’re looking at.

This is either an issue with the shader cache, or a corrupted installation. Could you try this, please?:

NOTE: This will reset any custom keybindings.

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to: AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
  4. Delete the entire ‘Darktide’ directory

You will then need to use the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option, which is accessible via the Steam client and will ensure the installation is complete.

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

NOTE: If Steam Cloud saving is enabled for Darktide, this may automatically restore the AppData and consequently cause the error to resurface. You can disable Steam Cloud S...

Good to hear! Appreciate you letting us know.

We do have some recurrent issues with the Intel ARC, unfortunately.

Do you have the latest drivers installed?

The upload didn’t quite work. Could you try again, please?

I can see Celebrimbor the level 17 Veteran was deleted on Fri 27 Oct 2023 16:22:05 UTC.

Unfortunately. we’re not yet able to restore operatives. What we can do is level up a recreated Veteran to match your previous one.

Disappointingly, this would be without any of the operative’s previous equipment, as we have no visibility of it once deleted.

I suspect this could be resolved by clearing your AppData. Please see:

Amazingly, it looks like you are the only person experiencing this crash!

If you haven’t already, could you try wiping your Darktide AppData?:

NOTE : This will reset any custom keybindings, so you may wish to make a back-up in case it doesn’t work.

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’

  4. Delete the entire ‘Darktide’ directory

Sorry to hear this. I’m sad to say we’re not able to manually compensate in this situation, but we’d like to resolve the underlying issue to prevent unfortunate situations like this.

If you could please share your crash report or corresponding console log, I can make sure this is looked in to:

I don’t have much to share unfortunately, other than it’s a known code-related crash, and it’s current status is ‘In Progress’. I hope we can resolve this promptly.

We’re working on it! Thank you and apologies for the inconvenience.

Sorry I don’t have any reliable solutions for this, I can only recommend perhaps a ‘Selective Startup’ to rule out any external interference:

  1. Press the Windows key
  2. Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
  3. On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
  4. Deselect ‘Load Startup Items’
  5. Reboot your PC
  6. Launch as normal, and see if the issue persists

I would be interested to hear from anybody else who has experienced this issue, and if they’ve been able to solve it.

If both the GPUDetection.exe and gpu_detection.dll have been deleted, and haven’t made a return, I can only recommend running through any remaining solutions here:

Do you happen to have GeForce Experience still installed on your PC, or any remnants of it? Make sure it’s all wiped!
