My apologies, I think I muddled up this post with another!
Were you playing using higher video quality options before perhaps?
It’s very possible for the defaults to have changed.

Thank you. Please could you both upload some of your recent console logs for us?:
Read moreSorry about that, I’ve refunded both purchases for you.
It’s my understanding this is unintended, but my colleague handling this has been away. Knowing this, would you still prefer to have the item refunded?
Hi,
Do you still have this issue? If so, could please send a video where it happens?
I know that ambush horde music was removed by design but the abruptly cut out sounds like something else.
I know there are issues like the silent Poxburster and Trapper that we are fixing. Hopefully out soon in upcoming patches. We’re working on better solutions when multiple specials arrive at the same time.
Why is the game lowering sound levels for enemies when characters speak?
You can use the audio option to lower the VO.
Sorry to hear that.
Could you tell me more about on what difficulty you play? Special circumstances?
We are working on these issues from several angles. Hopefully it will get better in later patches.
If you can attach a video video when this happens it would be valuable.
This is (edit: still) on my radar and I’m looking for patterns in recent reports. Would you be able to upload your most recent console logs here, please?:
Read moreI am aware of recent reports concerning this error and I’m looking for any patterns in the reports being raised. Could you let me know which region you’re playing from please?
Could you reproduce the crash using the old driver, and send a crash report my way please?
Are you playing in Windowed mode? If that’s the case, could you try switching to Fullscreen instead please?
This appears to be an issue with the Visual C++ Redistributables. You should be able to solve this by:
Sorry I missed this! You can download a previous driver version using Nvidia’s Driver Search: Official Advanced Driver Search | NVIDIA
Please enable the Steam Overlay. That should sort it!
May I confirm, does the headset work as expected outside of Darktide?
No problem, all done for you.
That’s my bad, I linked you the wrong article!
Could you include your latest console logs (as opposed to crash dumps) please?
It sounds like this is more of a hardware-related issue, I’m surprised Microsoft Support haven’t explored that with you.
Is the console well-ventilated, could it be overheating?
you can also try disable ray tracing completly since i see some signs that could be an issue and we have a few other amd users having same issue.
The time of generating the ray tracing shaders take a bit too much time and accumulate to the deadlock threshold.
in game files, lookup this file win32_settings.ini and change value of ray_tracing to false
edit: try this before disabling the deadlock detector. We have added some extra metadata to try find the cause of this issue but we have not yet patched that due to xmas.
try disable the deadlock detector and see if you can continue into the game.
