Has the crafting system just totally changed?

Certain crafting components are different now, but we compensated players during the transition. You should still have a bunch of stuff to help you in the new progression system.

Type of Bug: Slayers Club status.

Expected behavior: I bought 30 days access ingame, then bought a package that gave me 3 days automatically. After update today, I’m no longer a member, and get no benefits. I paid for 33 days, not 3.

Actual behavior: I no longer get extra rewards etc.

Reproduction Rate/Steps: Every time I turn in bounties, finish challenges, or do escalations.

System Specs: PS4

Geographic location: Norway

To expand, it seems that buying the Arcslayer package after having bought a 30 day Slayers Club pass ingame, removed my 30 day pass and replaced it with the 3 days that came with the arcslayer package. It would be nice to have my pass reinstated.

Got your in-game name, but do write in to support and they will grant your time back if I'm slower.

It takes less than 11hrs to max out the huntpass casually. the reward cache doesnt offer much for people to want to stick around and get every little things because honestly they are eye sores minus the handful that are okay.

Even the big name content creators dont play it much after the new huntpass drops because they dont really need to, there is so little offered from each huntpass, all they can really do is talk about the patch notes and a couple builds with click bait titles.

Even a lot of the new employees on their website ( https://phxlabs.ca/ ) dont even have gamer tags so safe to assume those new people employed dont even know what the actual f**k is going on with their game. Also i feel they shot themselves in the big toe when they decided to use...

Much respect to people like CreatureTech-PHX. there is no way i could do your job

Awe, thanks!. There is actually a lot of positivity in our community. Yes, there is a general ebb and flow to criticism, and we're doing our best to read it all. This thread has a lot of great thoughts that I'll be passing on to the team.

Hey gang, as mentioned in the thread, this was a mistake that will be fixed in the next patch.

For context, this icon was made using older concept art as a placeholder image. We had the actual icon created, but missed adding it during testing. Just a mistake in the pipeline. Sorry that this led to confusion!

So yeah, this version of the crown was one of many concepts that was drawn up at the start, but not the one we ended up landing on and creating.

Loving the excitement for the older concept. Maybe it will show up somewhere in the future :D

We're seeing how excited players are for the old concept and wondering if it could fit somewhere else...

This is amazing, i hope this feature is added sooner rather than later. I also hope the system doesnt become gimicish or not give us the full xp we earn.

You will gain full XP at level 20 but a lot of the current behemoths in the game aren’t high level so you don’t gain full bonus XP like you do for fighting behemoths 5 levels above you. But the new hunting grounds island we are working on will have higher level behemoths.

If only there was a high level island with high level behemoths… 😀

So, doesn’t this kind of defeat the whole purpose of reforging?

Now you can keep banking your XP to keep playing in high level areas and escalations until you have enough to reforge it back to 20. Rinse and repeat? Also, these higher level areas give more XP so reforging becomes faster.

Why not just scrape the whole reforge idea, and put in “Aetherheart XP” or something. Use weapon mastery for empowerment requirements. This will give a good purpose for the masteries. Heck, I’d scrape the empowerments, and re-think the rewards. Hiding power upgrades for ALL weapons behind the “play X weapon wall” is bad.

The numbers aren’t final but you’ll only be able to store enough XP to reforge back to level 10 instead of level 1. We still see a lot of value in keeping the reforge mechanic to keep your activities fresh, especially as we add more content to all our hunting grounds islands. This feature was designed to make reforging a little bit smoother and keep veteran players in the later half of the game.
