@JoshuaR870 You can verify your game files via Steam, check User Data.

If that does not help, delete the DayZ folder in your documents.

@RoserCharles If you die from a headshot with a supersonic weapon, you will not hear the shot.

@SleezDawg You should be able to find them rarely in military areas. But the team is currently looking into possible issues with certain weapons barely spawning on Xbox.

@DanielVavra Yes, similarly we have health, blood & shock which are affected by ballistics and melee dmg. I'm not fan of such arcadey dmg reduction (currently virtue of necessity), especially when it limits possibilities and rewards of picking right tool for right job on both sides.

@N0tABananaa @TopeREC Yes I'm, head hit zone is 3x more sensitive to shock damage (I was wrong about regarding shock passed thru plate carrier, see my other post).

@N0tABananaa @M1NDR My mistake, indeed, 26 points is passed to shock thru plate carrier, thus 3 consecutive shots leads to uncon (as 25 is threshold for uncon). I'll look at it.

@TopeREC If you encountered such behavior (shot to ballistic helmet with .308/7.62x54 not leading to uncon) pls send vids/logs if you have any, thx.

@M1NDR They already do more damage to armor and character. Also currently one .308 to plate carrier is currently at the edge of unconsciousness even when it didn't force you into it.

@TopeREC Currently ballistic helmet (which is highest tier) saves you from 1 headshot when hit from full power cartridge (.308win or 7.62x54mmR) in trade of unconsciousness.

@TheOnlyGanit @Spaggie Shock damage is applied (reduced by armor) and there are no plans to change that.

@wartzilla Yes, but as it doesn't make much sense, it will probably protect from melee only later.
