No, as of now it's not possible. Currently cross-progression only exists for Stadia and Steam, Switch will be added soon.

The whole thing with hitboxes aka desynch should be fixed with the upcoming hotfix patch - in relation to how hits have been registering, that is.

This is known - both issues should be fixed with the upcoming hotfix patch.

Hitboxes should be fixed with the upcoming patch. As for the UI, they announced changes to it already: https://twitter.com/DeadByBHVR/status/1360284634274291712 This is a work in progress.
