The masks are being removed because of the way they're being used in game by some players to racially harass others.

As we've explained, the issue with LF's masks has been on our radar for quite some time.
Sadly, some players have used them as a tool to racially abuse others. We are not comfortable with having something in our game used in this manner, it's completely unacceptable. So we made the decision to remove them from our game and provide Shards as compensation - the masks were obtainable through game time, so in game currency has been provided as a replacement.

As this DLC has been removed from our store we cannot guarantee content from 3rd party sellers.

We have no control on in-game names, so please report to the platform that they are playing on.

Yes the Beta Tab is in the testing phase on the PTB - if it goes well the Beta Tab will then be implemented into the Live game.

It can do yes, there's times when the Server needs to increase security and during this we will switch phone verification on.

The BP cap is still 1 million, but bonus points (so from login rewards etc) are handled differently - they are separate to the BP cap. But when you've reached the 1 million of earned BP then you cannot obtain any more BP from in-game...you can still receive the login rewards etc.

There was a brief period of time yesterday where this issue occurred for many players, that issue has since been resolved.

The "bone things" are Entity claws and they show who the obsession is in the match, all matches have one obsession.

Lightborn does not stop The Wraith from becoming burned - it only prevents blinds not burns

Neither killers or survivors keep their addons after a trial by default (so think of them as single use)

The level of bloodweb on your killer has no effect on the skill of any other players as we have a Skill based match making system (SBMM) that has a hidden MMR score which is used for matchmaking.

Perks are in 3 tiers only

Orange Perks are teachable perks, once you unlock this "orange perk" you will still need to find that perk in the bloodweb of the other killers, it won't be automatically unlocked for them, it just means that you can now obtain it on any other character and it will need to be levelled up as normal.

Decisive Strike is pretty easily avoided, just don't go for the player who's just been unhooked

When did you unlink the accounts?

The only thing I can think of is that it's still in the wait period after you previously unlinked them. Other than that there is nothing more I can suggest but to wait for Support. They are inundated with tickets at the moment and there's a longer delay than we would like with getting replies to users, but please don't send further tickets/emails as that will just delay your ticket even more.

Please ignore the wrong information from the above users. There IS cross progression between Steam and Epic Games Store - please make sure to have linked both of your accounts to the BHVR account and then you should have access to your DLC characters on both platforms as the progress is maintained on the BHVR account.

Unfortunately we are not able to compensate players for any items/addons/offerings they lose when their game crashes for any reason - including Steam maintenance.

You can only transfer the DLC if you link both of your Steam DbD Account and your Epic Games Account to the Behaviour account - you will still need to own the game on both platforms in order to do this.

Grades are not used for matchmaking, grades that you can see show how much time someone has played in a month, not their skill level.
Matchmaking is done on an MMR/SBMM system which is hidden.
Your MMR doesn't decrease if you take a break from the game for a little while, which is probably why you are noticing a disparity at the moment.

As has been said on this thread, any alteration to your game files is done at your own risk and if an EAC ban is triggered we cannot unban you.
