I am presuming you mean a Disconnect Penalty timeout or a temporary ban as there is no Game Ban showing on your profile.

If you were disconnected from the game, it could have been caused by a game crash or loss of connection - please check your internet connection and/or any error messages you received.

If you received a temporary ban - there would have been a ban message on screen with the reason of the ban.

Neither of these bans are appealable.

We've definitely reduced the time from 45 minutes. There's also absolutely no reason for a player to hold another player hostage for any length of time (prior to EGC having started), so it's definitely griefing a player when it's done.

Nothing from the PTB carries back to the Live Build, what happens on the PTB stays on the PTB.

If you wish to opt back into the Live game, you just remove the Beta option, so the reverse of what you did to join the Beta in the first place.

Yes, if you are being held hostage in the game (and EGC has not started), then this is a reportable offence and against the game rules.

It does not matter if other survivors are alive and can complete gens, the important point is that someone is actively prevented from playing the game.

Hi, I've confirmed this as a bug and updated the known issues of the patch notes - they will be returned to players shortly, most likely in the next hotfix but that is not a guaranteed timeframe.
