A fix is coming in the next patch. Adding this filter does not delay that fix at all, this is something that was worked on before the issues from 4.5.0 came to light.

@ImaDwight No. The intent is not to filter profanity. The filter checks the context of what you're saying to try and figure out if it's offensive before filtering it.

There's obviously some things that are also never okay, regardless of context, though.

@partiially We do, and we will continue to. This is just an extra layer of protection so you don't have to see those sorts of things to begin with.
