Will you guys ever allow the equipment to become better at mining? I was fairly dissappointed with the Pickaxe upgrades since they seem largely geared toward melee combat instead of utility. I would happily sacrafice combat effectiveness for faster/better mineral digging... Think in the realm of how you can trade in the shield-drain explosion for extra carry capacity.

One of the devs said the build in cert includes up to hotfix 5 with others being released shortly after the patch drops, though that comment was made weeks ago so I guess it could change.
This is still the case. And hopefully once things get rolling again we'll be able to quickly push the new content as well.

The drills are currently a tool for accessing areas, not for gathering.
It's good. You can find people to play with on our Discord (discord.gg/DRG), but you can also just join games in progress. People are generally very friendly.
That's just a bonus animation.
You get the same if you try to reload weapons with a full clip, or weapons that don't require reloading at all.
Try it with the Minigun or the Breach Cutter. :D

I can’t remember all the details, but some of it was most likely trading, some changes to the inventory system and refunds becoming a thing.

Is your Internet connection good? That could be part of the issue

Steam got rid of the 4-packs back in 2015. The only games that have those, are games that added them before that.
