Thanks for the report. We're aware of an issue where standard Special and Heavy ammo bricks in PvE are giving 5-10% less ammo than intended. This does not affect Finder ammo bricks and ammo from other sources, which are unchanged. We're currently working on a fix, planned for an upcoming update.

Hey, Guardians. The Fleeting Metastasized Essentia earned by extracting materials in The Nether will be lost if you don't clear the active combat area you are in.

Complete all objectives, defeat the boss, and open the chest that spawns right after to transform Fleeting Metastasized Essentia into the Metastasized Essentia that will stay in your inventory.

There is no need to complete a whole run of The Nether, although that's advised if you want to get the most rewards!

We have a preliminary list of items that we are planning to disable within the Contest difficulty of the Sundered Doctrine Dungeon starting on Friday, February 7.

Please visit the following article for details: bung.ie/disables

We will be updating the list as more items are identified, and plan to have a complete list locked by 7AM Pacific on Friday morning.

If you're planning to engage in the Dungeon race, we recommend stocking up on infusion materials, prepping multiple builds, and being ready to pivot on a dime.

Stay tuned for updates.

We just checked and this was missed when setting up the content and we will issue a fix to make the Storm's Keep aspect work with Arbor Warden in a future update.

Not intended, but we won't be rushing a fix for this. Have fun while it lasts!

Team's digging in to see what's up. Until resolved, abilities and Thunderlord will be your best friends.

With the release of the Nether activity within the Dreadnaught, we're looking to treat health as a resource that players need to monitor throughout gameplay. At this time, healing-centric builds and options (Weapon perks, Exotics, and Abilities) are not working as we'd intended.

Additionally, we are aware that many healing-centric builds are difficult to see or feel with Guardian health being increased by 200%. Overall, the health bar contains 3x your normal health values, so healing feels fairly low and slow!

We're looking to take a balance pass quickly and are targeting a patch as early as next week to address these issues. Stay tuned for updates.

Hey all, thanks for the report/discussion.

From our SBX minded team members:

1) On the Prowl has a 1 second internal cooldown. This can be adjusted in the future if necessary.

2) This aspect is currently granting the small chunk of ability energy over the 7 second duration of each stack instead of all at once. This is unintentional and will be fixed in a future update. That said, the energy is fully awarded by the time the buff runs out.

We’ve seen a resurgence of time fluctuations and traces of Deepsight weaponry coming from the Vault of Glass...

While Raids normally function on a 2-per-week featured rotation, Vault of Glass will be added as a bonus third option for the launch week of Destiny 2: Heresy, starting Feb 4.

Happy hunting!

When Destiny 2: Heresy launches on February 4, players will be tasked with infiltrating the Dreadnaught once more. Along the way, you'll be earning some sweet loot, helped by the Tome of Want.

  • On day one, you'll unlock the "Tome of Want", giving you options to focus on earning specific weapons, armor, or currencies in addition to general loot drops you'll earn during gameplay.
  • As you complete Heresy activities, you'll earn Essence of Desire to power up your Tome's rituals, and Scriptures, which will specify the ...

No new exotic armor then?

Heresy will bring quite a lot of Exotic reworks, new Aspects, and new Arc verbs to the overall sandbox. While there won't be new exotics, there will be tons to buildcraft around and reasons to pull out old favorites (or things that have been sitting in your vault) to give them a try.

Hear the feedback and will pass it along, though.

The actual TWID now says “Box Weaken” in place of withering gaze… I’m guessing that’s just an old name for the same perk

Yeah because it’s like Box Breathing, but with Weaken, see? We’re very creative with our dev names!

Wish we got it on the void rocket sidearm though. The others all have the aoe perks on them

Well, funny thing. We have found an issue where yesterday's TWID had an outdated list of perks for Lotus-Eater, the upcoming Rocket-Assisted Sidearm. The good news: it now has some fan favorite Void-focused perks. Check the updated list below:

  • Third column: Shoot to Loot, Beacon Rounds, Reconstruction, Strategist, Feeding Frenzy, Repulsor Brace
  • Fourth column: Destabilizing Rounds, High Ground, Reverberation, Withering Gaze, Adrenaline Junky, One for All

Kinda odd and off topic and I’m sure you get this all the time, but you’re the revision zero guy right? I’m pretty sure played an IB match with you yesterday on Midtown. I even told my wife I think there’s a Destiny famous guy in my lobby lmao. I’m Telesto, and I’m pretty sure we Mercy ruled them. Anyway, Sorry to bother you. I just thought it was pretty cool, Im fairly certain that was the first time I’ve actually seen a famous person in the wild. GGs.

Yeah that was me haha. I remember your name, I mentioned to my buddy I was disappointed you weren’t using Telesto!

Ok so question: for the trials losses thing, does the 60 base rep and chance to get loot occur for those of us who don’t get any round wins? I.e. every time I go 0-5 thirty games in a row, I’ll still be getting 60 rep each of those games? If so that’s a massive improvement considering I can’t currently gain any rep towards rewards in trials (the bento boxes are gonna give me my first trials loot lol)

Correct.

Trials changes look awesome, but can we please have some transparency on how skill factors in to comp earnings? What is above average, average and below average performance? What stats is that based on? Seasonal combat efficiency? Actual KD ratio? If my seasonal efficiency is 2.15 then that means every game I perform at above a 2.15 I will earn more than I lose?

The game currently claims that doing well even in a loss can earn comp points, however I recently played a game that ended in a 34-35 loss, I had a 2.53 efficiency while my teammates sat at 0.53 and 1.17. I lost -80 points. Under this new system would I still lose 80 points or will the game now reward me for actually doing well compared to my teammates?

The only things that go into your Performance Bonus are your Efficiency and Player Score stats from that game. Doesn’t care about your skill, or anything seasonal or outside of the Competitive playlist.

I was “Fusion Rifle Greg” 🙂

Ha I knew it! I was there for the first time back in 2018 and the sandbox guys at the time told me stories about those play tests.

RogueProphet, that name sounds so familiar…

Were you the guy who was a terror with fusion rifles early on?
