  • Added the query (double-check box) before dismantling the Storage/Tanks/Logistic Stations. You can turn the pop-up box on/off in the Setting.
  • Added a function that now you can press and hold [SHIFT]+[DELETE] to delete the holding items directly.

With the coming of April, we are about to enter the rhythm of medium / large scale content development, and a new round of difficulties, and an intensive development schedule.   • Fixed the bug that the facility' power consumption was not upgraded after a 'quick upgrading'.
  • Fixed the bug that the facility' animation was not upgraded after a 'quick upgrading'.
  • Added a function of 'Savedata Modification' log. You will be able to look up how your savedata was adjusted after the game updates. We added it In order to prevent the similar situation in the future and reduce some impact of facility data adjustment.

Here comes our first update in March. And, an important functional update is also coming soon!

Feature:
  • From now on, the savedata will also save its creator's ID. The players will be able to see the savedata creator's ID in the right upper corner of the game.
  • Improved some UI interactive SFX.
Changes:
  • Data reduction of Dyson shell. The length of archive data generated by Dyson shell is reduced by 50% ~ 60%, and the save/load time is reduced by 20% ~ 30%.
  • Data reduction of Sorters and Assemblers.
  • The research materials won't be returned immediately after the research list is suspended. This change is made to avoid the loss of items caused by the logic of "No item will be returned for fractions of a count".

Hi Mechanics!

This test turned in to a pretty long one as you might have noticed. We ended up doing a lot of small fixes. But also because we wanted to add a few more things for testing before we drop it.
Today the 30th of October we finally added the new Beacon interactive part that we’ve been teasing on our Twitter. The Beacon will help you set navigation waypoints in the world to make exploration much easier. It can now be crafted in the Craftbot! Some other highlights are fixes to the UI and main menu that we didn’t find time to add for the survival release. There is still more work to be done to the UI but we are getting there. We also fixed a bigger issue where the frame rate dropped for no clear reason for some players after playing longer sessions in survival. That should not happen anymore.

They unfortunately didn’t make it on time for the survival release, but they are back in Scrap Mechanic now!
