@Munchkin:
Sorry you don't like the new sounds, but that's as subjective as it can get.

For the tool highlighting i'll make a internal feedback.

Interface is another subjective thing, i like the new interface a lot.

Drag and Drop issues are not known to us. Only the one with broken tools that got hotfixed, got more details?

Closing Windows is a known issue and will get a hotfix. We're not sure how to do it yet, as we got two split groups: The ones who do not want backpack to close with ESC and the others that do want it. If we make a setting for it, it cant be a hotfix.

And Work Parties are for helping you to get the work. You will still keep the item you craft, so it uses your resources. It's an easy way to get the required labour.

The other thread had not a single bit of actually helpful feedback. "Crap" is no feedback. This post at least stated why it's crap. I have no issue with you finding the game crap, but please at least write why it's crap. If you don't even bother to do that, the post is violating the rules.

We already have vocal PvP being too much for some people, there won't ever be the kind of PvP you wish for.

It can be played singleplayer without issue.

And a single option just won't work, as we already have a single option for it, called NoCollaboration, but while a lot of people are fine with that, for others it's way too difficult. And for others too easy. The issue is that different people have different playstyles and like different things - we cannot provide one solution to rule them all, it's impossible.

No Collaboration is our singleplayer setting, most people are fine with. For those that are not, you can change additional settings to tune it to your needs.

Yes, that's been like that in earlier versions as well, though.

This is intended. In the desert you can only build dirt roads on trampled ground and you need keep the ground trampled for them to stay. This gets harder the bigger the road is.

@outlaw Can you provide your player.logs and a screenshot of your graphics settings?

Can either add here or directly to GitHub: https://github.com/StrangeLoopGames/EcoIssues/issues/18144

Yea well 1 GIG is gigantic if you have slow connection and 1 GIG acctually needs 45 hours for loading. Not as uncommen as you may think in Germany.
Anyways if you have bad Internet you:

1. have to live with it or
2. move to an other place with an better internet.
I'm from Germany. It's totally uncommon he... Read more

On SP you are actually just hosting a server :)
If you still got an issue with connecting, feel free to send me the logs to investigate.

And while you can simply create the biggest world possible - you will be missing out on most of what Eco is, as pollution will be no no threat at all. You still can do it. But we're not developing it for being used like that.

Linux Servers are working, and fine so it seems. So we're happy to got that milestone done.

For Linux Client i'm very honest with you, we only got a single person working on build stuff and devops and we simply do not have the resources for a focus on linux there. You buying some invites for friends on linux - while i'd appreciate that - cannot change this. To pay another dev for this we'd need a hell lot more sales and linux is, as you're well aware somewhere at 1%.

Why it is not working for Proton i don't know - we don't check for Proton.

It not being mentioned in the announcement is indeed my fault, i had it announced on Discord but forgot it here in the heat of release day, you're absolutely right with this. I'm sorry for that. I tried to answer all linux questions immediately and with a link to the issue so you can follow it, though.

I cannot give you a serious estimate for release, we only have single person that can work on it. But it's ... Read more

Mh, that looks like a network issue.
Any firewall / antivirus? Try disabling that, Avira and Kaspersky are known for blocking our master server sometimes, for example.

You can filter servers in the server browser, there is an icon on the top to do so.

Try disabling filter for same version, that might help.
