We're not dismissing solo players, but the focus of Eco and the whole reason it exists has always been multiplayer. We do not plan to add features that are specific for singleplayer, but we will try to make Eco as configurable as possible so everyone can configure it to his specific playstyle and having fun with it.

I'll suggest a release stream to the team, myself won't be here as i unfortunately have to attend a funeral service. I've also provided your feedback for a sale to the team. It's not me to make that decision, i was told there will be no sale. I probably don't need to mention that our marketing budget is nearly nonexistant as a indie developer that needs to put the money into developers to build and fix stuff, though.

64 Players at the same time, probably no server.
40-50 at the same time: 9900K, NVME-SSD
RAM is dependant on world size and is not affected much by player count.

You can't stop it, it's part of the playtest debugging and intended to be there.

Update 9.0 adds new configuration sliders to make you able to configure your difficulty more in-depth as Caz said. Though, if you don't like playing with other people, i'm not totally sure why you chose Eco. I mean, i'm glad you bought our game, but i had the feeling we were stating quite extensively how Eco is mainly a multiplayer game in the description, given stuff like "Government" and "Economy" - our main features - make no sense in solo play.

Because, being realistic, death would be permanent. Back on Kickstarter we had 'Death' planned to be a 'ban' for the criminal justice system. If you get banned as punishment, that would be 'death penalty'. Means, when you die, youre banned from the server and that's it for you for that cycle.

We're not interested in being yet another game with player death, so we simply have no death.

If you linked your SLG account in the last ~30 days, this info is not on the authserver used for the public test.

We can't guarantee that migration will be working, so you can - but on your own risk.

Munchkin, i've asked you to be a little bit more respectful in the past, so i'll ask once more.
Eventide is fully correct, you currently cannot instantly unclaim peoples land when they become inactive. The point is "instantly". 9.0 allows you to unclaim all property the very moment the demographics changes, like the second when the x days inactivity are reached. Currently you can only make a law apply every X hours, so there will be a delay - which is not instantaneous.

Well, some basic respect is indeed expected here. I just told you that if you got a solution it would be respectful to post it, so others can find it via the search. You might want to think about that and how you treat other people in the future. Topic locked.

We can recommend PingPerfect due to our excellent experience with their customer support and the fact they sell hardware, not inexisting slots. With nitrado we unfortunately to date only got bad experiences from customers, they aren't collaborative in working out why the server owners cant join their own servers either. No experiences with 4netplayers.

But others might find this question and have an answer, as you didn't provide one ;)

The number ingame doesn't mean slots. It's /. Eco does not have "Slots".

The playtest servers are public for those who have access, but yes access is limited currently.
