1) Uninstall Eco
2) Backup Steam/steamapps/common/Eco/Eco_Data/Server/Storage
3) Remove the complete Eco folder mentioned in 2)
4) Reinstall the game
5) Restore backup from 2)

Yes, thats the first thing to try for such issues. Make sure to backup your Storage directory though, in case you want to keep your old worlds.

Steam doesn't remove mod files, for example. And it tends to forgot to remove other stuff as well, so a clean install is always the best solution with problems on a major update.

We announced about three hundred times that we recommend to start a new game as we add new features and that this might break old worlds. I hope that at least the majority of our player base will like the new features :)

This is ONLY about the client. Linux Servers are done and ready, but we're having issues with SteamCMD that are being worked on right now. (And the servers ARE officially supported since 9.0)

Not to mention this is the first time we offer linux servers, we didnt have any before.

As Linux is not officially supported, priority for it is low. We don't make linux builds until the last few weeks before release to speed up our builds. Sorry, it's a compromise we need to take. We're trying to fix the issue as soon as possible with an hotfix.

No, that was a mistake leak and was removed five minutes after.

It's intended that you need to find a bit of starter ore, which often can be find on the surface as well :)

You can use any ores for Smithing, though.

That's not true, Korben, we had several 15% sales for nearly all the big Steam sales. We don't do bigger sales while Early Access lasts, as i have mentioned a few times as well. We need to earn money to go on developing *g*
