The wetlands biome was removed in 8.x, hence those two species cannot currently survive. It's been reintroduced in Update 9.0.

That was not an issue, but intended. The wetlands biome was taken out on purpose and now gets back to the game. We just didn't remove the associated animals as that would be useless work when they get back in the next version ;)

Deleting is possible in 9.0 from ingame, btw.

Not really, we'd need logs when it happens from both players. Hence the only way to do that is our GitHub: https://github.com/StrangeLoopGames/EcoIssues/issues

No and no. Damage is to your calories.

We do want some kind of debuff on fall damage, but no health. Nothing in 9.0 though.

Yeh, unfortunately that's somewhat true. We got no AI planned, as it would defy what this game is about - human interaction with other humans. Sorry.

That's all that happens. It's solely a flavour feature of self-defending animals when you get too near / perpetrate their territory. You're neither meant to die nor are they some kind of army hunting you down.

Trains are a planned feature we'd like to do but are not to be expected before final release. Boats are in the works.

No, there is no AI. You can vote yourself in, but i'm not sure that makes any sense.

We do plan IPv6 support, but as with all games, thats very low priority. Even though i personally think it should be higher, i'm not in the position to decide that.

I'm not sure we do have a bug report for this, never seen it myself either? Did anyone of you create one?

Well, if you're not going near animals, they're not going to attack you. Who would go near a Jaguar!?

The planets are balanced fine. If you choose larger planets for no reason, you'll just evade any ecological impact as few players cannot cause big issues on a big planet. The memory requirement also is very moderate. Just 8-12 GB for 16km², minecraft with mods eats more.

Servers save automatically. In this case the server owner seems to have either lost or removed the save on purpose.

We (still) got rear-facing seats in buses and trams, i actually prefer sitting there compared to normal seats. They're pretty normal. Not having any issues.

We're going to implement a feature to disable head bobbing either in 9.0 or 9.1, though. So that's the good news.

Not that i'm aware of, there hasn't been any network related issues for a long time. All the connection timed out errors popping up here are actually broken local saves (hence the error message will say something different in 9.0) or issues with the local network we have no influence on.

And in regards to the OP:
We generally never recommend to play on after a major update. It's still early access and we may have breaking changes at any time, but we keep them limited to major updates. No matter that, you can always go on playing with your old world by changing the branch to the older version (we keep them for one major ve... Read more

No reason for a full quote, partly quote without support issue at the end.

As has been repeated countless times, we simply have not set a release date yet and are not going to do any more estimates as long as we're being nailed down on them being a announced release date despite stating that they are not. This just causes even more unhappiness, the type that actually affects us as well. We're not happy with the situation either, but we see good progress in our playtests.

We've chosen to rework big parts of backend to fix mistakes that have been made in earlier development. This was required to actually improve performance and it is also required to move over to a monthly release cycle for future updates. We didn't have much choice. If we were to release 9.0 in smaller parts there wouldn't have been chances to fix performance at all as the underlying changes break stuff massively. You'd not be any happier than waiting.

Additionally, we are a small team. ... Read more
