Ich kapiere das neue System in der 9.0 nicht. Wenn ich etwas einsammle, ist es nicht in meinem Inventar. Und warum kann man nicht mehr einfach was in den Konstruktor packen , anwählen und Bauen. Bitte, immer die Möglichkeit da lassen, auch nach altem Inventarsystem arbeiten zu können, es ist einfach nur verwirrend. Und ich bin Ingenieur im wahren Leben, ich kann mich schnell in etwas reinfinden, aber das hier ist nicht hilfreich. Ich muss jetzt Container mit meinem Inventar verbinden, wo dann Gesammeltes reinkommt, solange ich im WIFI bin.

Whole Logistics dont work. cant connect Freightboxes , transfering stuff into Inventory dont work, stuff just dissappear...so game absolute unplayabel for me now

Hey all ! is there someone who can help me pls ?
Since my game install the new update 9.0.0.2076 all i had in my inventory and my advanced constructor are gone .....

Can anyone tell me where are all my stuff and to get them back pls i had really a lot of things inside my constructor... i don't want to loose all of that !

Hi Galactic Survivalists!

Christmas is coming closer and so we thought it is about time to release the first Part of Alpha 9 to our community, so everyone can play and test and gift us with a lot of valuable feedback on the most recent additions, like NPC Factions and the new Logistic Menu in particular.

Part I, you ask?

Yes. Unlike previous major releases, Alpha 9 was split in two parts due to the very nature of the features we added: Both NPC Factions and Logistics are adding game mechanics that are completely new and have a lot of touch points with nearly every game mechanic which means we need a LOT of feedback - and we only will get that feedback, if all of our community members can access these features. On the down side, this also means that there might be a few more rough edges than usual.

Gravity generators have a range within which they operate. They don't stop at the hull of your ship. It might be a bit surprising, but it's not a bug.

So I haven't played Empyrion in awhile (after a bazillion hours I got bored :) ) before I dare installing it again...
Have the added the ability to walk around while a CV is moving?
Also have they fixed the turning off jump in space makes you fall? (I always loved that bug)

Update: December 16, 2018: Alpha EXP 9.0.3 (Build 2075)

Changes:
- First draft of showing reputation points when hovering over NPC faction in Faction Window
- Added loot to tribal deco
- Updated POIs on Lava planet + set faction to Polaris
- Updated Invader vs Defender scenario

PDA Update:
- Show remaining amount for multi-count PDA task in HUD info, e.g. (1/10)
- Show collapse arrow behind chapter title only if tasks are visible
- Don't display collapse arrow if Reputation or Level restricted and player does not have sufficient amount
- Improved PDA reputation level information.
- Rework Skip and Confirmation window
- Updated PDA with better amount display in action title
- Some faction Companion missions now have a required Standing you need to reach until you can play them

Thanks a lot for your feedback starmind!

As you might saw in the EXP Dawn of Galaxy is not updated to Alpha 9 yet and I don't know if time allows me to update it in time.
All your and other notes are in progress though.

On top of that I will rework it to integrate the NPC Faction, to create another level of story (Reputation Standing etc.)

I will rather call it Dawn of Galaxy II or so.
But it's very time consuming.

Have fun nevertheless!

may there will be fix for some issues bevore 9.x get to stable branch but i asume your guessing right. As the troop transport issue is anyway a minor issue (even if it is annoying) but this is a really older issue wich is hard to fix since there is no reproducable case with a 100% trigger.

If your able to reproduce the issue with success i suggest head over to the bugforum here https://empyriononline.com/forums/bugs.24/ and send a proper report, just to know there is a bug doesn't help much to fix it for the devs they need use cases to catch down the critters

You may missed "something" - but Alpha 8,x got release to public stable branch at 17 of july
Current Public stable client is on 8.7.x , if you didn't switched experimental and still using it your now using 9.x experimental client i asume. 9 is not released to public stable branch yet,

Basic question but as i want to finish mini campains on 8.x i would love to see things like troop transports fixed... but now dev will only focus on Release 9.x ?

Added new type of Entity Spawners: "Static"
> these new spawners should behave as if you actually place the NPC in the POI
- Spawn spawns NPC once
- No particle effect
- Will also spawn NPC when structure has no core anymore ie after conquering
- "Static" can be configured via CP of spawner block

Thanks for your great feedback. We already integrate some of it and released a new version.

CHANGELOG: Alpha 9.0.0 (Build 2053)

Changes:
- Added modular expendable harvest and ammo containers for all structures
- Rebalanced reputation matrix: rivalry impact reduced by 50%, outside faction territory gain reduced by 50%
- Added new group ZiraxRipperDogPatrol to all playfields
- Adapted faction affiliation for creatures
- ZiraxOverseerPatrol, ZiraxCrawlerPatrol should not be used anymore (Overseer = Alien, Crawler = Talon). We are now spawning RipperDogs for these groups
- Replaced ZiraxOverseerPatrol, ZiraxCrawlerPatrol with ZiraxRipperDogPatrol on all playfields
- Updated Talon Deco NPC with new model
- Updated POI spawning on starter planet (AlienTowers are now Alien faction, more predator spawn around AlienTowers)

EAH (Empyrion Admin Helper) fixes:

- Playfield Restriction for Origin set to Origin 0 by default
- Please check the Playfield list for the "Belongs to Origin" column and set it to 999 for no restrictions. (You can also use the button "Set belongs to to "No") Or turn of the Playfield Faction restriction in the config, if not in use.

Hi Galactic Survivalists,

After several small stabilizing updates for Alpha 8.6 over the last weeks, today we released Alpha 8.7 where we upgraded the game engine to Unity 2018. Since it is a major engine upgrade, we had to invest a lot of time making sure nothing breaks. Paradoxically, the ideal outcome would be that you do not see any difference to the last public release version Alpha 8.6.3.

compared to the information i found about Rust Devs, the Devteam of Empyrion is 1/3 the size

5 Devs at Eleon
15 at Facepunch (from what i found from a quick google search) Well Wikipedia says 43 Employes but im not sure if those 43 are all Developer or if this is also QA/PR/Managment included
