Elections for the 2023 Council of Stellar Management (CSM18) are underway, and to celebrate EVE’s next season of player representation a selection of three gifts will be made available to all capsuleers for free through the NES on 8, 9, and 10 September: 

• 8 September: Council Diplomatic Shuttle 

• 9 September: Council Diplomatic Shuttle Semiotique Sports SKIN 

• 10 September: Agency Support Drop 

Additionally, as a special reward for those who vote in the CSM elections, any account which votes will also receive a free Council Diplomatic Shuttle SARO ‘Black Troop’ SKIN!

Over the last two weeks, we have reviewed all the CSM applications to ensure that they meet the outlined guidelines and eligibility requirements. In the last two terms, our goal was to achieve a 72-hour response time for applicants - a significant improvement from the earlier 2-week waiting period. This year, we honored this commitment for 75% of the applicants. However, a few applications experienced delays, mainly due to weekend schedules and a higher-than-expected volume of applicants. Following the disruption of Guri Malakim activity surrounding ancient Jovian sites by capsuleers earlier this year and the still-ongoing recovery of fragmentary destroyer schematics from Angel and Guristas commanders, corrupted fragments containing structural data for what appears to be a Jove stargate have begun to circulate, marked with an enigmatic emblem. Simultaneously, footage has emerged of both Cartel commando Rafik Zohar and Caldari Navy defector Esri Hakuzosu meeting with an unknown representative. The footage, showing the representative offering an invitation from the mysterious figure known only as the Deathless, has begun to spread across GalNet:

Hello spacefriends and welcome to the latest Community Beat! Lets take a look at some of the cool things that are going on across the community:

Nottingham Player Meet

Since several CCPers were in staying on in Nottingham between AT weekends we decided to put together a player meetup while we were in town. Hosted at the Bunkers Hill pub in Hockley we had expected maybe 20 or 30 people to turn up but in the end over 60 people came out to hang out for the evening, enjoy a few ales and talk about our favourite hobby - internet spaceships!

CCP Zelus, CCP Bee, CCP Swift, CCP Kestrel, CCP Overload and CCP Convict were all there along with members of the EVE_NT AT crew. We also had current, former and prospective CSM members and one of our hard-working ISD volunteers joining us too.

The final weekend of Alliance Tournament XIX is almost here!

32 Alliances entered the Tournament and, after an absolute bloodbath, with the loss of 11 flagships with an estimated value of between 600-700 billion ISK! After some truly epic matches we have to say goodbye to the following Alliances from the tournament.

With the action boiling up over this coming weekend, let's do a quick recap on the tournament so far as well as details for this weekend's events!

It's been a little over six weeks since the tournament trumpets first sounded in the first rounds of the Alliance Tournament, the feeder rounds, back at the end of June/start of July. With 48 teams registering at the start of the Tournament, we needed to whittle that number down to 28, combined with the 4 winners from last year, which gives us our regular, 32-team, Double-Elimination bracket.
