None of the banners in Gems of War are intended to give 2x ++ bonuses, only 1 at this stage. So this was a bug that was fixed.

Update 6.6.1 is scheduled to release on Amazon, it has unfortunately been delayed. This has happened due to a problem on Amazon’s side.

We’ve been told that the 6.6.1 update will be released with the next 24 hours.

I’ve asked the development team about this and the spell’s description is correct, as this is the intended design of the Ace of Wands troop.

The development team is aware of this problem. The issue is temporary and will resolve itself after a few hours from when it first appears.

A hotfix is planned which will prevent this from happening in the future.
