PvP tracks all received the same update, with the exception of the WvW exclusive tracks of course!

Greetings Gamers! We mentioned in our last studio update that we'd be updating Victory Points with the release on 3-25. While this change won't go into effect until Friday, 3-28, we're posting the updated numbers ahead of time here! Please note that the first entry for each region starts at reset for that region. Bug Fixes: Fixed an issue that caused some legendary mode mechanics to persist if the difficulty was reduced after attempting the Ura legendary mode encounter in Raid: Mount Balrior. Fixed an issue that could sometimes cause Ura's Eruption Vent shock-wave effects to play at the wrong angle in Raid: Mount Balrior. Fixed an issue that caused players to lose eligibility for the More Than a Little Bit achievement if they entered the downed state during the "Keep the areas clear while the golems gather samples" event. It shouldn't affect it at all - all of the 'old' rewards that were available before can be found in the 'new' reward tracks, so any place you had clovers before, you should have clovers now. In fact, there are also now clovers in the condensed dungeon reward track, so if anything, there should be more clovers than before!

There is currently an issue with the Avian Aspect Helm that prevents the eyes and beak from animating correctly for asura, sylvari, norn, and human player characters. We will have a fix for this live later today.

I have been asking around to see if I can find some insights that would give you more information on why it is like this--and hopefully improve this for you with other games--and our Lead Engine Programmer had some insights to share: Disclaimer: I'm not a doctor, so this is just my conjecture. My understanding is that discomfort often stems from a mismatch between what acceleration you see and what acceleration your body expects to feel (think reading a book in the passenger seat of a car). This often happens in games with tight camera control and frequent camera rotation. Think of the difference in visual experience between an over-the-shoulder action game vs. a game with a fixed isometric perspective. No, the two things are unrelated. I asked to come back to GW2 at the end of last year...I was really struggling to learn Unreal well enough to be productive, and I started teaching night classes in Narrative Design at Digipen, so I needed something more familiar and comfortable in my day job.

A message from the Game Director: Hey, everyone, I wanted to share an update regarding the launch timing of our next expansion for Guild Wars 2. While we've released our last two expansions in August, we've made the decision to shift our next expansion launch to October. This extra time will allow us to ensure the expansion meets our quality standards without crunching. This change for the sixth expansion will not impact the release timing of the final quarterly update for Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds.
